I like that the final trailer showed tons of things yet we remain in the dark about various aspects of the game to include mechanics… I am as informed and uninformed as I want to be going in… anything is on the table

the idea that some in the world know and are hiding the information is perhaps the better way I suppose

When the film The Passion of the Christ came out one of my favorite stories was that of very religious, “dont expose kids to violence” folks making young kids watch the film because it was important and acceptable/educational.. lots of stories of kids getting traumatized heck is screening the movie on Easter a thing?

Someone at my daughters HS butt dialed their parents in the locker room.. someone slammed a locker shut and apparently it sounded like a gunshot.. the fact that the student butt dialed meant he couldnt respond to the panicked parent yelling for the so the parent called cops.. police responded in force.. my kid going between classes was holding the door for the cops…better safe than sorry and a wuick response but it sucks that this is our new norm..

Yup, overthinking is the word… I definitely have started looking for a counselor just to air all the excess crap in my head… sitting around getting contaminated by the vitriol of everything certainly isnt helpful… I have a sleep machine and all that but it doesnt seem to be having much effect.. I figure once I settle into whats next things should settle down… its the “first day of school” syndrome thats crippling me

yup, that is whats killing me right now... I just retired military, I enjoyed what I did so in a sense work was "play" it was my social outlet... now as I sit here purposeless I went from working 19 hr days as a DS constantly moving and talking to just doing nothing... just sitting home with pent up energy. I keep thinking of places to volunteer or work to be useful but as an introvert just the thought of establishing something new is killing my will to move... Sometimes I think im over thinking it and that im actually social, but the reality is just the prospect of going out for "fun" is in itself exhausting...

I get the sentiment.... but damn if we didnt all treat it as a joke when he said he'd run... we laughed when he decided to run and thought he was done as soon as he opened his mouth.... also thought he was done when the "grab'em" leaked...... yes its more complex reason as to why he won but still but then: Dems won the elections hes gone hes started his results are tainted campaign, all his lawsuit fails hes gone they have substitute ballots? what do you mean Pence not playing along is the only thing that prevented him from denying the will of the people and voiding the election results !!?? Its just a long shadow and the crazies have gotten bolder, theyve doubled down on the Bullshit.. thats why some folks are apprehensive.

So any Sports gamers here on the boards? curious as to what the “best iterations” of the major sports franchises have been recently.. Its coming time to get a more recent game for Fifa, Madden, NBA, WWE.. apparently MLB the Show has a great historical mode too

There is also a very clear disconnect between the haves and have nots in this country so sacrificing a few thousand isnt beyond their capacity to do since those lives can be reduced to a percentage on a power point highlighting a future profit margin -Weinstein, just how bad was he that the controlling heads of Hollywood allowed one of their own to take the fall? Casting Couch and quid pro quo has been the norm in Hollywood since its inception… there is a very clear line that in Hollywood everything is fair game except Jews.. they are the “butt” of a joke only on their terms and they are very controlling as to how they are presented, any perceived attack is automatically labeled “Anti-Semitism” and punished with impunity… so with their ivory tower being that guarded what did Weinstein do that he and only he is held accountable -Moon landing, same thing… we did it first and we are a nation that “LOVES” patting itself on the back.. how is it that in a country full of the “smartest” and brightest we dont have tons of pics and videos of others going to the original moon landing spot just to celebrate our own greatness? I dont particularly lose sleep over any of this but it does lay dormant back there as WTF?

… so this is why so much hate and bitching is coming out if Star Wars social media.. got it I like Ridley as Rey.. I hope she finally gets an arc where she gets to truly shine… if not then she can at least wait another 10 yrs so that the sequel trilogy gets the revisionist love like the prequels

… so watched it in a theater full of kids, lots of little snickering and giggling noises early on (basically voicing what I was feeling)…. overall though it was mostly quiet compared to the roaring laughter from other “kids” films…. kids laughed at the slapstick bits while older fans get the easter eggs and musical cues…… as expected its a 1 and done film with nonstop forward momentum, no time for reflection just on to the next bit…. I just HOPE/PRAY this doesnt lead to Minions DLC drivers in Mario Kart…. it would be the worst choice in Mario Kart since the removal of Toad screaming wail from Kart 64

Knowing it was from Illumination the bar to clear was “not as bad as Minions”… It seems to have accomplished the one and done viewing criteria that most Illumination films excel at.

Im still waiting for the big shoe to drop for Elon to go full Bond villain… I figure he will be more Tomorrow Never Dies style (though R Murdochs peeps lead that)

I think social media and the success of Trump has taught them they need not be discreet with their corruption anymore… once you “cross lines” everywhere it just becomes normalized…. its like fighting a battle with strict Rules of Engagement while the other side can plunder and murder indiscriminately.. they will not get what they deserve..

I like 2 Fast 2 Furious for the silliness of it all plus.. Tyrese got to “shine” in this… seemingly so much so that when Vin Diesel got back on board it felt as if he was on a mission to put Tyreses’ character as the butt of the joke for the rest of the series..

Law and Order SVU is depressing as all hell, the thing that always stands out is how often the cases hinge not so much on the truth but how evidence or facts are suppressed… just curious to see which legal loophole will be played in this one to save the Don.. I just always assumed the ultimate endgame would be a GOP president just granting him a pardon.. as time passes you see its never been necessary

I hope Trump goes full Alex Jones+ levels of stupid and forces the judge to put him on blast for his upcoming idiocy on social media…
