Uber's sell to investor is their long term vision for a complete autonomous fleet and owning their entire tech stack around it. Where Lyft is planning to leverage the work done by others (Waze/Google). We're still years off from that happening but we are progressing eventually to that goal in a society where you won't really own a car anymore and will rely on AV to get around.

Chinese Famicom clones that were mostly targeting the asian and 3rd world markets are a dime a dozen sadly.

The banter in that showcase was just awful. For the love of god please stop nintendo. Sadly not much interest me other then Goose Game update and Short Hike.

I'm an app developer. I know the Apple terms. It doesn't matter for the fact that Apple is making this worse for themselves and doing what Epic was hoping would happen to bolster their case. The FB/MS enterprise certs is of a different matter.

They take a near equal cut but also have given some liberties to Major publishers over the years that works in both parties favor. Apple is instead is doing "My way or no way".

Chinese handsets do well in china and china is working on their own android replacement in the process. Yep, Apple is really making awful predictable choices that Epic was counting on.

Pretty much on the nose. Epic isn't in this for a better % on appstore. They want to establish precedent so they can push for epic store on other platforms.

Oooff. That is a terrible move and will play more in Epics favor in the legal battle. Apple really should walk this one back (they won't and will get hit for it).

Update: TikTok acquired by...Oracle(?!?)
chakoo replied to b_m_b_m_b_m's topic in The Political Re-Education Camp
https://www.cnn.com/2020/08/14/politics/tiktok-trump-executive-order/index.html "President Donald Trump issued an executive order Friday evening directing ByteDance, the Chinese-owned parent company of TikTok, to divest interest in the app's US operations within the next 90 days. Trump explained in the order that he believes there is "credible evidence" that ByteDance "might take action that threatens to impair the national security of the United States" following the company's acquisition of the social media app Musical.ly." -
Yeah I've heard about this but IMO I feel it's a little pricey for what it is. Sure I know it aligns with Arcade 1Ups but I kind of feel if you're going down this route why not just simply buy a normal barcade, restored arcade cabinet or build one yourself (like I did).

This showed up in the mail recently. I picked it up for two reasons, 1) I was keep tabs on yahoo auctions and saw a chance to jump on one for cheap and 2) While I have it on Neo CD this is one of the few Neo CD games where loading time actually annoys me. It's also interesting that the loading issues of 94 are less of a problem in 95. I'm actually fine with playing 95 on Neo CD. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Like I mention at least the price was right (7390Y total [~70 USD] - 4,700Y buy/fees & 2,690Y for shipping). As a follow up, I have another NG AES cart waiting for me in japan. I picked up Fire Suplex (3 Count Bout). I know the game is broken when you get to the 3rd level but I like the look of the game and as well I was able to scoop up a copy for 5200Y (before shipping).

Galaxy's issue for me was mostly the camera. It all too often would put me upside down even after using the button to reset the camera. It was such a headache I gave up and never finished it or played Galaxy 2. I mostly enjoyed Odyssey, beat it, but don't consider it the best 3d mario game (like some) because of the over abundance of worthless moons.
