Welp, Black Friday and end of year deals are almost upon us. Who wants to start taking guesses on how many 3ds games i’ll end up with between now and end of year? :P Last year I think it was around 4/5 titles. While I don’t spot many 3ds deals so far, I’m sure I’ll still find a nice pocket of them. At least so far i’ve spotted one plan pickup this friday (detective Pikachu).

The forums are here to help where ever we can. Don’t be afraid to even tell us what basic needs you might need right now for us to help with being overwhelmed. Some of us have even gone through dark days ourselves and are more than willing to even just be an open ear to let you vent. Don’t be afraid to simply just talk.

Yep, been known since day one. The unit comes with an adapter for master system but they will also produce adapters for game gear, my card and sg1000/mark3. I think the price is expected to be $10 for the adapters. I have to say, the GG adapter is 50% of the reason I want one (i’ve got quite a few loose GG games). -edit- i haven’t ordered one yet because you pay up front and I can just wait and order closer to launch even if it means I get in on a second run).

I've not been watching for the past few hours but checking in now I'm not sure why the freakout so far. Senate was never going to happen and house still looks on course. Boomers are still the worse fucking generation and will kill us all. and a large part of the US is still racist as fuck. Seems about normal.

I liked most of the game sans the final boss and late game Boos. The rest was great fun!

Decent list, there is no way they would please everyone and ps1 gets stuck in a bad phase of licensing hell. I’ll probably grab a jp unit for fun but sad they got parasite eve and we didn’t.

I picked up xeno 2 tora yesterday because i’ll be stuck on a 5h flight + week long business trip. This trip i’m exclusively switch, last one was exclusively 3ds. So mostly a mix of xeno, capcom beatemup collection and possibly a bit of Zelda (never got around to beating it).

I just couldn't help myself. =( Not an amazing price ($100 Cad), condition ok only major issue is missing battery holder but unit fully works, but I've wanted a micro vs unit for years and the more I drag my feet the more insane the prices get (use to be able to find boxed complete ice hockey for $100 Cad, now it's 2-3x that). On an interesting bit, I played my close retro friend today at lunch, had a blast still and totally won.

On final boss of Luigi’s Mansion and only missing 3 boo ghost. Man the end was starting to be a pain (stupid boos and their 300 points to drain). Kind if glad the game is a bit short as i’m not sure I would enjoy a longer play. I might have to bust out LM2 because I feel there were parts I liked more in it but its been so long. Now to figure out what to play next (maybe go finally finish Metroid or Captain Toad).

that one is probably one of the better ones in the set imo. Just sadly that would be very cramped for 3 people. I think I really want to build my mini jamma cab at the end of the year (yes I have a candy cab but I want to build a desktop/bartop unit).

It already did like last month, it was a quiet release. Yeah its been great, i’ll probably have it finished by this weekend. My only frustration with the game so far is the shooting star room and the nub sometimes making it harder to control.

Yeah I read about that recently, it’s a dumb move to be making right now. It would be best to wait 6 months before making a statement.

I don’t expect much of a change other then seeing a few more people acting like idiots for a few weeks. At most i’m Enjoying watching to see how much ontario’s new government is making things worse when they kept hyping that their solution was better. Atm you can only buy online in Ontario, the province run stores were scrapped at the last min, licensed independent stores won’t happen till next year and their going to crack down hard on dispensarys starting today (illegal dispensary can face a huge fine that the province gets to keep). Oh also one more thing, Canada post might be shutdown as early as Monday over a strike.

Man luigi's mansion is a little hard to play at times with the c-nub. I'm using the strafe option as it works better for me then not but sometimes I get stuck in an odd state where i'm looking up at the ceiling going in circles and holding down isn't getting him unstuck. Other then that having a bit of fun but getting a little stuck on how to get a specific ghost (the hallway one). I'm still on Moon, I haven't even gotten to opening up Ultra Sun. Since I'm updating my list, for curiosity, I've had a bit of a 3ds binge recently and spiked to 113 titles in my collection. =/ I feel like black friday will be bad to my 3DS backlog again this year, lots of atlus titles I'm eyeing when the price drops or detective pikachu, last year I ended up with 4-6 titles for the backlog. I've got soo much to keep me busy well into 2020. =P
