Awesome. Yeah I loved that as a kid. For the the Disney Christmas TV special, "From all of us to all of you", fans have been able to recreate 90% of that special in HD because a lot of the shorts have since been remastered. I'm wondering if something similar could be done with this? I'll have to do some digging. Surely it's out there.

General Gaming VGC: Capcom is working on a Resident Evil 4 remake

Yeah I meant they could have had a third act using all of the existing assets. They didn't need to create a whole new area with new enemies, mechanics, set pieces, etc. -

I kind of love how ridiculous the island is. They could have easily shipped the game with the castle being the last area and it still would have went down as a classic, but nah, they wanted to add 25% more content and fill it with crazy action set piece after set piece. You've got creepy regenerators, bulldozer ride, Krauser QTE fight, Krauser one-on-one fight, that hanging shipping container boss fight, helicopter mayhem, the jet ski finale, guys with big machine guns, all of the enemies are new, the environments are new, and it's all packed in like 5 hours of non-stop gameplay. I love it. -

Personally, RE4 is a perfect game. Every design choice is so deliberate and only works in the context of the rest of the game. I've yet to play another game that constantly takes you to the very edge of desperately trying to survive, but always managing to make it through an area by the skin of your teeth. And it doesn't matter what skill level you're at, the game dynamically adjusts. I watched my wife play through it 2 years ago (someone who literally doesn't play games), and it was amazing seeing the game adjusting to her play style and skill level. Like I know the original is still going to exist after the remake, but I legitimately don't see the point. It's a better action game than any after it, and I'm just not terribly thrilled about it turning into another modern shooter with all of the "quality of life" features that will supposedly make it better. The controls are fine, and far more grounded in reality than any other shooter, but not to mention they work within the context of the game. Well, as long as they don't pull an RE5 where they merely increased the enemy count to balance out the added mobility. -
Keep in mind, with the original All-Stars, those games were remade into 16-bit for the SNES. So if they did another All-Stars for the 3D games, surely they would remake them, right? I'd be curious how they handle Sunshine. FLUDD was designed for the analog triggers of the Gamecube. You can get it to work decently in Dolphin, but it's still a bit janky. Still blows my mind they haven't released a NEW Super Mario All-Stars with all of the NSMB games.

The AVERAGE cable bill is $217? Which means there are people out there paying even more than that. Who are these people? What are they watching? I pay $70 for Comcast gigabit. Unfortunately it's only a year promo, so I'll have to decrease around September. Other than that, I bum Netflix off my parents, split Sling with my brother, I do have Prime that I pay for, and anything else I just buy the blu ray.

Television Anyone watch I'm not ok with this?

I can't stand media with these quirky, ironic, phrase/sentence titles. I love highschool, coming-of-age crap, but I just can't bring myself to watch something with such a try-hard title. Same deal with The End of the ****ing World. Irrational maybe. But I'm sticking to my guns here. -
Sony The PS Classic is now $100 cheaper in Canada ($30)

I'll pick one up for under $30. The latest Bleemsync looks pretty great. -
Nintendo New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe Reviews
Bjomesphat replied to Pikachu's topic in The Spawn Point
$60 is insane. Nintendo totally blew the opportunity to do a NEW Super Mario Bros All-Stars. Package NSMB, NSMBWii, and NSMBU together, sell it for $60. I won't get greedy and ask for NSMB2 also, but that can be a 6-month DLC thing for $20. The all-star nostalgia, with an incredible value and this thing would sell like hotcakes. I don't particularly feel the need to re-play the NSMB games, but I would totally get that package.
