Game may still be fun, but that didn't impress me. A few things: 1) So a diverse cast of popular villains from the DC universe, all with their own special powers, and abilities, and the gameplay is them all mostly using guns... 2) Not to sound like a chud, but if this is in the Arkhamverse then why is Deadshot now suddenly a Black guy? It's not like this is Deadshot II, and a different real name, no, it's still Floyd Lawton. This screams as either a retcon just to add more racial diversity*, or this wasn't originally set within the Arkhamverse, until someone from marketing/higher up decided they would probably get more sales if it was said to be within the Arkhamverse. They could have made him Bloodsport. *Obviously should be noted that I have no issue with racial diversity, but it is weird to just retcon a character like that with no explanation (unless there is some explanation that we don't know yet). and 3) I guess we know who they modelled Brainiac after

Basically all my Switch games are physical copies. I don't know why. Yeah the internal storage on Switch isn't very high, but I could always expand it with an SD card. All my PC games are digital, and it's much more convenient, so not sure why I keep to physical for Switch.

I've heard the rumours are that only Prime 1 got the full remastered treatment, and the other two are just going to be simple HD ports. I hope that's not the case, as I do hope Nintendo sees how beautiful this game looks, and the enthusiasm around it, and decide that yeah the other two deserve to get remastered as well. There are locations in Echoes and Corruption that were absolutely gorgeous back in the day that I would love to see again with these graphics. Sanctuary Fortress? Bryyo? Phaaze? Mmmm. Picked up my physical copy last night at Wal-Mart. Shame to hear some of you are having trouble.

Oh right I didn't bother checking the other stores nearby. Do you think it's worth it though to get one? I mean again if I do upgrade in 4 years, by that time there will be even faster drives out, and I'll probably want to go ahead and get one of those. While driving the other day I saw someone else driving their truck with a big flag flying from it, made to look like the Canadian flag, but with "Trudeau" written on it, and the maple leaf made to instead look like a hand giving the finger. Way to deface our flag you so called "patriot", you fucking imbecile.

I never played the original with the hint system turned off. Going to try that this time and see how much I remember myself.

Yeah gameplay-wise the implementation was best in 3 since you didn't even need to get all of them to get to the final area, but narrative-wise it was probably the worst because if you didn't have enough, and didn't already put them in the Valhalla ship, then when you're told to go take control of the Leviathan orbiting the Pirate Homeworld you can't, and you need to go do that first before proceeding to the final battle. I think it killed the pacing the most because 3 had a more traditional narrative structure with characters talking to you, and whatnot.

Funnily enough I watched an interview the other night with one of the original developers, and they said Japan was the one to push the keys at the end because the team was constantly afraid the game wouldn't be long enough. I don't expect Prime 4 to have a last minute key gathering unless they view it as "tradition" at this point.

I probably won't upgrade for another 2-4 years depending on how demanding future games get.

Any recommendations? I've been thinking of getting a third drive. For my C drive I have a 250GB SSD as my boot drive with Windows on it, and for my D drive a 2TB HDD that I put most of my games on. I was thinking of getting another drive and getting an SSD to put my online, and other games that would benefit from loading faster on it. Then again I could always wait until my next full upgrade to get PCIE4 or 5 (or even 6 if it's out by then lol).
