  1. Nom nom King Shark is going to be the fan favourite I think, just like Groot was from GotG. Plus he's voiced by Stallone which makes it funnier.
  2. As I said in the thread on General Gaming, it would make sense, but knowing Hollywood I wouldn't be surprised to see Sony Pictures want a bigger name star. Speaking of Sony games being turned into movies, is Naughty Dog involved at all with the Uncharted movie? I know they are with the HBO Last of Us series, but I don't know about Uncharted.
  3. I'd like to also say that the PS3 was indeed an awesome console at the end of the day.
  4. You haven't played The Last of Us? Oh man, do yourself a favour and pick up the Remastered edition for PS4. Runs like a dream, comes with the DLC, and the multiplayer is fun to boot.
  5. Been going? You mean the way it's always been! They had John Wayne play Genghis Fucking Khan!
  6. Huh I guess that makes sense. They could even still use Daisuke Tsuji for Jin, but something tells me Sony Pictures would want to go with a bigger name actor.
  7. I've seen people bring that up before, but very different circumstances. If the US government went tyrannical, and regular Americans started grouping together as a militia force the advantage that the government has that they didn't in Vietnam or Iraq? It's on their home turf. Vietnam and Iraq are foreign countries, the layouts, infrastructure, registration systems, census, etc., etc., all that is unknown, but for American citizens planning military action? The US can pull up everything about you. Track your phone, your car, where you live, who you know, all that, and if the government is truly tyrannical, they probably don't care if they just kill you out of suspicion, and can use a predator drone to fire a missile on the house you're hiding out in, even if there are innocent civilians in there (oh wait, the US already does that in foreign countries without being a tyrannical government...). Any sort of action against the US military from regular civilians is doomed to fail. A straight up attack would get them wiped out. A guerilla style attack would still fail because, as we've seen with the January 6th insurrection, they'd go over every frame of every angle of every security footage there might be to identify who is responsible, find out where they are, and pull up at their doorstep. It would either end with that person going out in a blaze of glory, or being pulled out in cuffs after the soldiers raid their house. Even if that person ditched their phone, deleted their social media, ran away from their home, it really would only be a matter of time before they're found. The only way to stop a tyrannical US government would be if high ranking military members objected, and split off to form a proper rebel force somehow keeping control of the personnel and equipment they had control over, and with NATO countries putting pressure on the government, and possibly also joining the fight. Billy Bob who likes to practice playing soldier by shooting empty beer cans in the woods behind his house isn't going to do jack shit against a squad of Navy SEALs.
  8. Because it's not about power it's about launch times. The Wii, PS3, and 360 were one generation, even though the 360 was a year early than the other two, just like the Gamecube, PS2, and Xbox were the previous generation even with the PS2 launching a year earlier than the other two. The Wii U launched a year ahead of the PS4 and Xbone, but because it failed, Nintendo did a redo and launched the Switch. It's a new generation of Nintendo consoles, yes, but overall still the same generation when grouped with the other consoles. It's weird, and Nintendo certainly made it more confusing by launching a console mid cycle, but it's belongs in the same generation as the PS4 and Xbone. Had the Wii U not been underpowered, and say cost an extra hundred dollars, or maybe even two, to make specs better, and been marketed properly enough to sell better, Nintendo wouldn't have had to come out with a redo in order to stay relevant.
  9. Didn't realize they did that with Raya. Guess that 30 dollar price will stay. I wonder if this will just be the procedure from now on, or for how much longer. Still better than what WB did to screw movie theatres by making all their releases go on HBO Max.
  10. In terms of brands probably best to start away from HP. Asus, and I think Toshiba are good.
  11. Totally off topic but this is a great name for that event. I move for us to henceforth refer to it as such.
  12. What makes the final boss the worst? Super difficult, or there are some stupid mechanics that make it like a puzzle, or something like that?
  13. Well this is shitty. I know JonTron turned out to be a bigoted piece of shit, but is there something with EgoRaptor/Arin too? I know JonTron used to be part of Game Grumps (I don't know if him and Arin are still friends or not), so does Arin just have shitty taste in friends? What's with all the pedo talk on D1P lately?
  14. Metroid Prime 4 launch for the Switch 2? I'd be OK with that lol.
