Really? I would think it would take longer to get the builds necessary and level up high enough to kill the weapons. Certainly you’d have to know what you were doing pretty well to do it in 80... But yeah the base game isn’t really too long. Hell with the ports that let you speed up the game speed you can really blast through it.

Or almost everything that has happened since empire strikes back lol

Honestly I think you should do what you want and I was just ribbing you above, but I do find your standing order to just never play the game odd. Like we can agree to disagree on the stance you took of not wanting to play it because in your eyes it should be the whole game. But now things have shifted in a way that totally lets you just get in and play the thing, and you still have your foot down. I’m as big a FF7 fan you’ll find, and I just don’t think it should be held to these standards lol. I think you should just play it and have fun.

If we're not talking remakes as you said, I would like to see a remaster of Oblivion. It seems to be kind of the forgotten Elder Scrolls game to this point, and I would like to re-visit it. I think Diablo 2 with some modern trappings would be really nice. Obviously the Mass Effects would be nice to have (1-3). Would love to see a MGS Collection put out - give us the NES-PS4 games like in a complete collection, I'd play through each one. I would pay 30-40 bucks for a console or PC re-release of Dragon Quest 8. And finally give me Tony Hawk 3.

I am probably bitter because I watched an elder scrolls online trailer once without realizing what I was watching, and then when I figured it out I was very annoyed lol. Is there a Bethesda RPG that you like? Genuinely curious.

I think MMO trailers are trash. They’re always the farthest thing from representing what you actually do in those games, and the gap between reality and the trailer makes playing those types of games all the more boring to me. That being said I would love for this thread to turn into people’s favorite game trailers ever...

I dunno... most of the main FF games are pretty convoluted. You’re right though not KH levels, but at least my young teenage self usually had no clue what actually happened by the end of most FF games.

If you have never played the original and Aeris dying is your only real knowledge of the plot, watching the new trailer would essentially mean nothing to you lol. Maybe one part would seem weird, but even then it's not clear. I've probably played FF7...I dunno, 5-6 times through. It took me 2-3 and the explosion of the internet to REALLY understand the plot of the game, and I think if people watched that trailer with casual knowledge of the game, even if they beat it back in the day, they probably wouldn't come up with a fraction of the stuff in the OP.

I want to say the 3DS version was only one area per console, but I don’t know for sure. At least people are reacting rationally and not completely entitled and immature about it though.
