We are really fucking stupid in Georgia. I'm glad my son's school is online for at least the 1st 9 weeks. They are reevaluating after that. My stepmother is in the same boat that I am. She is a teacher in Texas. My dad has copd, so she has moved in with my siblings in order to protect him. He's now completely isolated. This entire situation is completely fucked because we are so damned stupid.

He woke up Sunday with a fever and body aches. We decided it was a good idea for them to get tested. His test came back positive yesterday, and he seems to be almost completely recovered today. The reports of long term damage, especially with the systems involved, has me worried though.

My 6 year old has tested positive. I've been staying with work (retail/Target) friends in order to minimize risk to him and my wife for months. She is a doctor (PhD/DGMQ) at the CDC, and has been vigilant with regards to following best practices. She was negative, but how long can that possibly be true. What a fucking mess.

My son is in the Atlanta public school system. School is starting on time, but the first 9 weeks are online. They will reassess after that. Most of GA is just resuming as if nothing is going on, as far as i know. My stepmom is a teacher in Texas. My dad has copd. As of now, she is expected to show up as normal. She is moving in with her daughter, because this would kill my dad. This is such a shit show.

I live right by the Wendy's where the cops murdered that guy, that was later burned down in south Atlanta. We had to bail for a couple of weeks because the area was so tense. I'll still never buy a gun.

that makes sense based on location. beef stays home, and chicken is ubiquitous. seafood is going to be as locally sourced as possible. My guess is that Jose has better local access to fresh seafood. chicken is the odd one for me, personally. I'm in Atlanta. we have a lot of local production facilities. it's still hit or miss what i find. my guess is that it has to do with distribution contracts.

fresh food distribution is completely broken. if you are getting anything that isn't sourced from the gulf, then it's frozen. That supply chain is, basically, broken as well. chicken is also incredibly scarce.

I was on the Beltline (multipurpose paved trail through Atlanta) this afternoon. There were maybe 10 people wearing masks. I only went because the weather was supposed to be terrible. I expected a very low turnout. I guess none of us check the weather, because it was packed.

Yep. I ended up bailing on my retail job. The risks to my family just weren't worth it. Especially with the mouth breathing morons in GA refusing to use masks.

A blu-ray exclusive isn't classist? And from what I can tell it's several performances edited together. It's literally 2 words that were censored during the entire run time. It also sounds like there will be a non-disney+ cut at some point, but they had to make their money up from losing the theatrical release somewhere.
