Even with a few crashes, two instances if corrupt saves that would load indefinitely (where I also discovered the game autosaves while loading the save), audio randomly being muted, occasional flickering textures, a few broken missions where I couldn't scan objects that needed to be scanned, and a bunch of other things I've erased from memory.... Yeah, I still enjoyed ME Andromeda. You sir are a glass half full sort of chap! ME:A was just a bad experience for the start for me, I can look the other way on some stuff but it was utter crap. TO ME, I'm saying, TO ME!! less than 10 hours in I abandoned all hope and erased it from memory, that is until I read you reply . . . Quote

I've been wondering if it's worth picking up on a technical level for potential improvements over the PS4 version. As far as I know, yes. I remember it running smoothly enough back when I had a gaming PC so I imagine that version would be preferable considering how many issues PS4 copy still has. Quote

It's always on sale on Steam so I might grab it when I want to replay it. I already did twice on PS4, it's really fun to replay due to the chapters being unlocked after. Quote

I thought that you only played Nintendo systems, but I guess that I was mistaken. I agree. The Evil Within is criminally underrated IMO. I have the sequel, but I haven't played it yet. Quote

GameDadGrant Posted June 8, 2020 Posted June 8, 2020 @Phaseknox @Keyser_Soze You’re both kinda correct, actually! I primarily play portable systems, which basically boils down to Nintendo hardware for the most part. (Though I’ve put time into other handhelds, like Game Gear, Lynx, PSP, Vita (!) and especially Neo Geo Pocket Color) But once in a while I’ll venture into the console realm. I’ve owned all SEGA consoles (except Master System), every single Playstation console, original Xbox, Xbox 360, and WAAAY back in the day even had an Atari 7800. But it’s no surprise to me that some may assume I’m Nintendo-only since that company is my #1 pick nine times out of ten. But I’m no die-hard, I’m not missing out on Final Fantasy 7 Remake or Street Fighter V just because those games aren’t on my hardware of choice! ...thank you for reading this boring little insight into my gaming life. ARZ Posted June 10, 2020 Posted June 10, 2020 Anthem was FANTASTIC!! Enjoyed Mass Effect Andromeda as well. My guilty pleasure would have to be....Crackdown 3. Enjoyed it enough on GamePass to buy it when it went on sale Quote
chakoo Posted June 10, 2020 Posted June 10, 2020 I kept having a difficult time thinking of a game to fit the question but then it finally hit me. Spoiler Suck it haters Quote
