From ‘Titanfall’ to ‘Star Wars,’ the evolution of game studio Respawn mirrors our search for story (LA Times)

Under Zampella, there are plans to expand and launch an original, as-yet-unrevealed game. The company will remain separate from Respawn and, Zampella says, likely will drop the DICE name.

After how poorly TF2 did, Respawn seemed to be the next name on the EA kills comic.  This is a massive turnaround for Respawn and Vince.

I have no doubt that DICE repeatedly shooting itself in the head/foot first with Battlefront II then with Battlefield V probably contributed to the seeming ascendancy of Vince/Respawn within the EA studio structure.

Can they send him to DICE next?

DICE Stockholm is in desperate need of new leadership. BFV is such a massive turd. I had high hopes for it after the pacific update and then they wrecked it with the 5.2 patch.

I’m convinced at this point it was done intentionally to drive the playerbase away so they have reason to focus on a new game. I suspect after the success of COD they will look to do something similar (BF3/4 remaster).
