This is such a bad idea. This will be one of those times that we can be thankful that the tech giants have started spending so much on lobbying. Most of the time they probably lobby for things that are bad for consumers, but you can also be pretty sure they don't want this. It's a really terrible idea that is bound to create more harm than good.
