Engineers at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, invented the world's smallest remote-controlled walking robot, according to research published in the journal Science Robotics.

I work for a scientific team currently so I now know it goes like this: Grant required to do science- > news article for attention -> application for Grant filed, sighting news article -> begin science! -> need more funds -> new article! -> grant amendment application sighting news article -> more science!
