I think it would be so weird to play Switch on a TV. I'm not against it, I just think it would feel weird. It's best as a handheld, IMO. Kinda sad Playstation gave up on handheld gaming. I'd probably play more PS5 if it had a portable option. I can't even remember the last time I turned on my PS5, now that I think about it. I just can't bring myself to actually sit down on my couch and play a game while practically tethered to my TV. Back on topic; if the rumors pan out and the Switch Pro is revealed in the next few days, I'll be curious to see if they reveal a price. I'm cool with getting a mid-generation upgrade, but the price has to be right. And I'd want some new features too. Even something dumb like Home Menu themes would get me on board.

I mean...it’s a sequel. It’s gonna play the same. I mean, obviously?! Gonna complain how Dragon Quest plays the same for over three decades, next? Or nearly any long-running franchise, ever made? What a weird complaint.

I feel we should be getting Bayonetta 3 info at the conference. It was announced in 2017. Time to put up or shut up, Platinum.

How many other companies make RTS games anyway? Seems like a niche genre that could use some attention.

I'm pretty sure Pokémon Shining Diamond/Brilliant Pearl is launching in November. I know that isn't going to light a lot of people up here in this forum, but...it's Pokémon. It's basically a lock that it'll sell gangbusters.

It’s one of the best traditional JRPGs out there. YMMV as to how much you like the genre.

@Greatoneshere @stepee There is also the fact that Sonic Colors is the more popular game - it outsold Generations despite Colors releasing only on one platform. (Well, technically two - Wii and DS. But they are separate SKUs) So it is likely SEGA is looking to capitalize on one of their older, more popular entries in the series that, as mentioned before, isn’t as widely available. At least in terms of what machines can play it.

I was asking for a new one, since I figured the 3DS is never gonna make it out of Japan. Or heck, I’d take an HD remake of it for Switch!
