Well shit, I guess I have to now! The Game Boy Advance (GBA) was the successor to the popular Game Boy and Game Boy Color family of game systems manufactured by Nintendo. During the development cycle, the internal code name for the new handheld has been speculated to have been “Project Atlantis.”

That game is actually pretty good. Developed by BioWare, IIRC.

Huh. Weird to take such an action-heavy game like Metal Slug and turn it into a much slower-paced tactics game. It'd be like, if you took some action-platformer game like say...I dunno, Super Mario Bros. or Sonic the Hedgehog and turned it into a turn-based JRPG or something. How ridiculous would that be, amirite? LOL. But whatever, I'm down for this.

According to Kyle, Nintendo = Mariah Carey. That's my entire take away from this latest episode.

It would have been crazy to think this wouldn’t land on PlayStation sooner or later. Wasn’t the first game originally only on PlayStation? I assume an Xbox version will be a thing eventually as well.

Ugh. Demon's Souls remake, Spider-Man, Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergade, Grand Theft Auto V, and now this. PS5 needs more original software and fewer last-gen ports. This isn't the god damn Switch.

Early reports say the Switch version runs kinda janky for the two sequels, but apparently there is a day one patch (hey!) that fixes it? Maybe? Not sure how a collection like this goes out for sale, while still in shabby condition.

Actually interesting! Seems like maybe a top-down twin stick shooter...adventure game? I'll keep an eye on it. Maybe I missed it, but was it for PS4 or PS5? (both?)

I dunno. If I can't sit down in a Daytona 2 machine, will it even be the same?

Those are the best. Something similar happened to me while playing Street Fighter IV back in 2009/2010 on 360. Got a hate mail message after they quit. Their intention was to cause me pain, but really all it did was make me happy.

Nice stats! I'm far behind you. Here are mine: Squat: 250 Deadlift: 200 Bench: 200 OHP: 110 (not sure on rows, mostly do body weight for those. I weight 175lbs.) But agree 1 minute rest between sets works well. I'm looking to bench 250 by the end of the summer. Wish me luck...!

LOL I'm amused at how this thread has headed. Good numbers for some cool games!

I did a “snaking” race against some rando online in Mario Kart DS and I beat him (her?) so bad they raged quit. It’s a guilty pleasure, but it felt good. Back in college, my buddy and I made custom characters in Wrestlemania 2000 on N64. He made this like, huge, hulking, muscle-bound monster of a character. And I did a close approximation of Alyson Hannigan’s “Vampire Willow” from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. A small, measly-looking character by comparison. But the moveset I gave her? Wiped the floor with the beast my roommate made. Multiple times. We played over a dozen matches and he could NOT beat me. He couldn’t believe it. “This is ri-god-damn-diculous!” He kept shouting over and over. It was glorious.

Kind of like an MMO Animal Crossing...I can dig that.

Actually kinda surprised they haven’t revealed that yet. What...what’s the hold up, Capcom?

I’ve downloaded the free version and took the Arcade Mode out for a spin. Its...kinda good? I’m not familiar with the mechanics but it seems to be a solid fighter at its core. Maybe I’ll continue to tool around with it. Perhaps it will “click” with me later?
