    I do miss the execution animation but not mad that they aren't in at launch. Hopefully they bring them in at some point.

    I think a lot of it has to do with how licensing agreements were made when publishing games back in the day. Somewhere a long the lines that when a game was published it was only for that specific hardware architecture. Which is why MS has to work with developers or publishers, because they use emulation, to get approval to allow games to be played on hardware it wasn't originally published on. I think this is how Sony got away with it on PS2 and PS3 by having previous console hardware built inside in early machines. I'm sure MS could put in the work to make all games play on the new console but it's something developers or publishers didn't originally agree to and can open up the door for legal ramifications.

    Gotta remember it's the first day. It's gonna take a bit till the matchmaking settles and your playing people of similar skill.

    You will need to update the game on the game pass app. Or uninstall and reinstall. The initial download was 280 MB but they pushed out the update to make it 27GB.

    Oh snap they finally added Mortal Kombat (Mortal Kombat 9) to the list. I have been wanting to go back and play the story mode for that!

    I remember pre ordering the PS2 from Funcoland but my order was cancelled due to shortages. So then when the Xbox was being released I pre ordered that and was able to get one day one. I remember playing Halo CE with my friend all night long. My Xbox 20th Anniversary controllers should be arriving today. Happy Birthday Xbox and all the great memories.

    Don't forget to join the Day 1 Patch club that @XxEvil AshxXmade. Makes it easier to race against rivals in the game.

    Stuff like that is why I haven't upgraded to Windows 11. Gonna wait a year until all the kinks get worked out. I run audio software and need it to work at a moments notice. Hopefully there is a hot fix coming for your issue.

    My buddy has no problems and he's also running Windows 11 and a 3080. But he did have issues with it crashing for a while. He said that disabling spatial audio and playing in stereo fixed it. Forza isn't playing nice with Windows Sonic of Dolby Atmos at the moment on PC.

    Yup. It's ugly and notifications are too round and big. Also it makes my phone run clunkier. Why you do this Google?

    Generations is a much better game than Colors. It's a throw back to the history of Sonic in a way like Mania is.

    Sonic Mania is the best 2D sonic it's a great choice. If you want play a 3D sonic I would recommend Sonic Generations.

    Playing the game at 120fps and can confirm that it looks great. It leans more into the Halo 3 art style compared to realism of Halo 4 and Halo 5 which I like.

    Same but last time I didn't get a email or message on Halo Waypoint till the day of. Hoping it's the same this time too.

    If its Halo I'd be more than fine if they delay the single player until co op is ready. Release the multiplayer on December 8th since it's free anyway.

    TBH Tim puts a lot of thought into this games. Psychonauts 1 story and character development was top notch. I can imagine how refined this one is with as much time it took to make a sequel. Plan to sit down with it this weekend as I know once I start playing I won't be able to stop.
