  1. No. No kids for me I have enough nephews and nieces to make me glad I'm not a parent lol. I'll take this Over kids ATM
  2. 8 months is a long time. I can get a girl pregnant and have it born probably before you can get a DV VVR TV
  3. Ah then you are stuck between a rock and a very long time from now Either Sammy have to firmware DV or LG has to add Freesync. Might be a while before you buy a new TV. Have you thought about buying a TCL R617? At least that way you can enjoy the Xbox One X and all the 4k HDR goodness in the mean time. No VRR but you will get both HDR10 and DV support. A 55" is like $650. The 65" is about $1k.
  4. Well if you were going for the Sammy Q9FN then get the LG 65 C7P. It's $1k less but with amazing blacks and colors at any viewing angles and has support for both HDR10 and Dolby Vision. LG Electronics OLED65C7P 65-Inch 4K Ultra HD Smart OLED TV (2017 Model) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01NAYM1TP/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_uJglBbD6S394V
  5. What TV do you currently have? Also do you have Game Pass? You should definitely check out the HDR in Sea of Thieves to see the amazing sunsets and water effects. Also me and @Emblazon don't mind having more sea men on our poop deck.
  6. Onrush. It's a fun online game car combat game. It has a single player mode but it's the same as the online but with bots. I have been playing with my friend as the game is team oriented and have been enjoying it immensely . It's 6 v 6 and the game modes are varied but we are waiting for competitive mode to open up. Definitely recommend it if you want something you can jump right in and out through out the day.
  7. For apps and setting or games too? You can do it via your network but just have to have both Xboxs on at the same time for the transfer. I would use a USB drive or external HDD as it's much faster and easier. As far as settings that's all saved in the cloud. So once you enter your account on the Xbox that's all downloaded.
  8. Now once you get that QLED all will be great
  9. The Q9F (2017) isn't the same as the Q9FN (2018). The way I see it Q9F<X900F<Q9FN. Go for the 2018 model over last years if you are going QLED.
  10. I have found 2 codes for Minecraft in my possession. I already have Minecraft for my Xbox so I am giving away both an Xbox version of the game and Windows 10. If anyone can guess the number I am thinking of will get dibs at which version they want. I will pick two winners until I give away both codes. Good luck and glad to be posting with you guys again!
  11. Speaking of Minecraft. I found two codes that I got with my Xbox One S for the Minecraft Xbox One Edition and Windows 10 Edition. If anyone can guess the number I'm thinking of 1-100 can choose which version they want. I'll pick 2 winners until I given away both codes. The Xbox One edition for Minecraft I think also has access to the new version of Minecraft that is cross play with everything. Good luck! EDIT: I'll make a new thread for this give away.
  12. This reminds me of a story I read where some dude saw Infinity War like some 60+ times. I'm sure there are similar fans for Star Wars that do the same so by them seeing it once actually does affect the box office
  13. As long as you have a fast internet connection that's all you need. I'm a home body now mostly. I plan to move up to crestline in about a year and a half and I have found several homes in the $250k - $300 that would suit my needs. Also it's only a 20min drive from where I currently live and it's much cooler up there. We'll see how the housing market is then hopefully things don't get too crazy
  14. Input lag on the QLEDS seems to all be under 20ms which is pretty good. The reason I didn't go with QLED is price. My Sony 900F is a better bang for the buck than the QLEDs especially at 75" but QLEDs are definitely better quality picture on the Q8FN and Q9FN.
  15. The only thing I know about AZ is that it's hot as hell Congrats to both of you on the new jobs. I'm hoping that I will also be in a new line of work by the end of the year. Plan to work 2 jobs for as long as I can as I plan to save up for a new home. Houses ain't cheap in CA
  16. Man I can't tell you how awesome cross play is. When playing sea of thieves with @Emblazon I forget that he is playing from a PC. It's just a great thing to be able to play a game with some one regardless where or what they are playing on. Makes me wish more games start doing this. I haven't played Minecraft in a while and the things MS has done with it is pretty cool. Realms, the Minecraft store and the ability to play it with literally anyone (Xbox, switch, PC, phones and VR crossplay) is excellent.
  17. Can't say I'm upset about it. I'm sure there are people out there that really wanted it on Xbox but support for VR just isn't there yet. Cheaper headsets are becoming more a thing but even on PlayStation VR good games aren't as plentyful as one would like after making the investment.
  18. Dolby Vision is better in every way. But not by much. But you will also need a TV that supports DV. Samsung's don't support it and probably never will since they are working on HDR10+. I suspect once HDR10+ is ready Xbox will get support since HDR10+ will still be opeb source.
  19. Man it's good to have the boards back. I haven't been to a forum since ours went down. I realized that other boards aren't the same. Everyone on the internet are complete ass holes. I know we aren't perfect but you guys are my ass holes What's everyone been up to since the gloom in June?
  20. Man you missed a lot of good deals during E3. I found Xbox One X's for $350. Currently I just see them at $450. If you are ok with an S I have seen them as low as $200.
