It wasn't Microsoft that made Bungie turn Halo from an RTS to FPS. That was all decided by Bungie internally.

Every time I looked at their Instagram/facebook post you would see nothing but people complaining about how the cosmetics were too expensive. I would say yes this was one of their major issues people had with the game. They have a BTB patch incoming this week also. Other complaints are the ranking system. I don't think they plan on changing much of the XP system which to be honest isn't so bad. I am at 100 already and been mostly playing 3-4 times a week since launch. Another complaint people have is they want more maps but that takes time.

@Commissar SFLUFAN I believe we talked about this on one of the D1Pcast many MANY moons ago. MS doesn't care about the console business. They want to be the subscription you pay for regardless if you play on console, PC and now cloud. With the recent purchases of Zenimax and now ActiBlizzard it's kind of hard not to see that. They have enough studios that they will constantly be churning games for their service that people will pay for and won't have to rely on closing deals with other publishers to put their games on the service. Heck for the average gamer this will be the Call of Duty pass

I had wondered that too but that's leaving too much money on the table for MS to consolidate WoW subscriptions with Game Pass subscriptions. I bet they will keep those separate.

It's just modern culture in general. Read any post about anything you enjoy and there will always be hordes of people telling how bad it is. People just suck.

Best case scenario for Playstation owners is that MS still releases most of the big games on Sony's platform like they do with Minecraft, but everything is also on Game Pass. It's a win/win for MS even if they don't go full on Game Pass exclusive.

At this point with adding ActiBlizzard to their portfolio the current price model is a steal.

I don't know about the PS5 but even simple features like faster loading times, playing games at 60fps or higher, and Quick Resume make owning an Xbox Series X a joy. I can't go back to playing my games on a last gen console.

That could be how it was supposed to work but it looks like that has changed. If you go the the Xbox settings to disable cross platform it's not worded like that anymore. It says nothing about PC. Now it says this It has changed to now say Xbox. That could still mean PC.

The one in the settings seems to be worded that you are turning off the ability to play with other networks. I don't think it disables PC players if they are playing games that require an Xbox account since that still part of the Xbox platform. Seems like it just disables Steam and Playstation players.

Interesting the wording for it says outside of Xbox. Does that mean the Xbox console or Xbox platform. Halo is available on the PC Game Pass which could be technically considered the Xbox platform so it doesn't exclude PC players but could just exclude Steam or Playstation players.

Wait what settings did you turn crossplay off? Infinite doesn't have that in the settings. Halo Infinite gives controller payers a big advantage with the aim assist. Almost all KB&M players have made the switch to controller in multiplayer. Console players are complaining about the cheating on PC cuz currently there is no anti cheat in Halo.

They do. Only bosses were bullet sponges. The regular enemies were always instant headshot kills.

Nah I don't use the built in apps on my lg. I run my Xbox Series X through the DreamScreen.

What i did with my DreamScreen is use a HDMI 2.1 splitter to be able to keep using it at 4k120. Works great.

It sucks getting old.
