  1. The first two episodes have been free so far. I just go to through my prime app and it hasn’t asked me to sign up for MGM+ yet 🤷🏻‍♂️
  2. Disney just came out with a TCG. Since it’s brand new I’d imagine it’s fairly easy(and cheaper) to get into than some of the other big ones like Arkham and LotR. I wish I could find more gaming friends. At this point I more of a collector of games than someone who actually gets to play them.
  3. Yeah I was right. They should have released one and two together. Two finishes the sort of “set up” for the story. But this was all stuff from the beginning of the book. They hit A LOT of the story beats from the books with some dialogue and scenes being straight up exact. They changed they made I thought were really well thought out. Gundlius’ interactions with Nimue being condensed to one scene saves some time. I love the characters of his Druid and betrothed sort of being combined so that it gives the show another strong female character. The only negative I have (and they’re small) are that like most new fantasy IPs(not called LotR) the show has a slightly low budget and small scale compared to what we’ve grown accustomed to. GoT and Last Kingdom did at the beginning as well so not a huge deal. And the story is moving a tad quick? I think that’s an almost impossible feeling to avoid as a book reader. I’m curious what non readers think. Great episode and a great start. Feels like they really are gonna do the books justice.
  4. I think they’re just delaying it because with the strike there’s no one to actually promote it.
  5. It’s so far ahead of all the others it can’t be listed for space reasons. Right @skillzdadirecta😂
  6. Lol I was just giving you shit. I do like that you don’t have 5 at the top. Aside from Hoth it’s by far my least favorite of the original trilogy. I’m sure if I was 50, saw it in theaters and had the finale blow my mind it would be higher. But I’m 40, saw them all out of order on VHS and the Ewok that doesn’t wake up hits WAYYYYY harder than some parental reveal every damn time 🤣
  7. If the goal was to create the single worst ranking of Star Wars movies in the history of human kind. You sir. Have achieved a resounding success.
  8. I dunno my wife and sister both loved the first two episodes and neither have seen either of the cartoon shows. But they also don’t fall into the group of people who have been corrupted by Netflix and binge watching everything. They’re totally fine if there are a few things that aren’t explained right away because they assume the show will lead them there(this is been a running theme for almost every single Star Wars show so far). But if you’re one of those people who needs everything right away then yeah I’m sure those first two episodes were pretty tough haha.
  9. I actually think the fights look much better in love action. Rebels art style was always just barely passable for me. And the fights had this jarring look like they were shown in a lower frame rate. Now if we were talking about the fight scenes from the Castlevania Anime or Vox Machina, then I could see wanting to stay animated haha
  10. This is a stretch but in the temple there were pictures of the pergill on the walls in a circle in the same way the Loth Wolves were on the Jedi Temple on Lothal. Maybe the Map points to where the Pergill usually live or are from? With the assumption that if you find the where the Pergill usually are you’ll likely find where they took Thrawn? I dunno that’s where my mind is at on the whole thing. I assume we’ll see Zeb at some point but the end of Rebels had him back on his race’s new “homeworld” right? So I assume they’ll just go get him when they need him.
  11. Ohhh nice, I was pretty positive that was a nod when I was watching it live but couldn’t exactly remember.
  12. Andor is great but Rebels was greater. Andor was what if we did Star Wars but without anything that actually makes it Star Wars and is entirely meant for Star Wars older fans. Rebels managed to cover every base possible while appealing to different generations of fans at the same time. While also telling a much grander story. Both pinnacles of what stories can be told within the world. But watch Rebels again, it gets the edge 😉
  13. That’s a you thing. That movie never looked good or interesting ever. Even the promotional still looked terrible. Lol
  14. That looks fucking awesome. An original Sci Fi/Fantasy world with Snyders visual flare? Yeah sign me right the hell up
  15. Interesting first episode from a book readers perspective. I feel like they might have been better served releasing episodes 1 and 2. One covers a bunch of stuff only mentioned “off screen” in the books and then basically sets up the very beginning of the actual book. The casting seems pretty on point so far, aside from Merlin obviously. But I find the actor playing Merlin compelling so it’s a major change I might come to enjoy. Arthur, Derfel, Nimui, Gunglius(no idea how to spell any of these I’m and audio book guy) all seem fantastic. If we’re comparing this to the first episode of The Last Kingdom I don’t think this was nearly as compelling but it wasn’t bad and I’m looking forward to next week.
  16. I dunno I thought the track list was incredible. I didnt think it was particularly poppy. I loved how the Turtles and most of the movie was decidedly very Gen Z. Very few Easter eggs or “hey remember” throw backs to the original show. And then they contrasted all that with a very eclectic and very throw back track last. The music and its utilization was probably my favorite part of the movie haha. "Ante Up (Robin Hoodz Theory)" by M.O.P. "Danke Schoen" by Wayne Newton "Eye Know" by De La Soul, Otis Redding "Scarface (Push It To The Limit)" by Paul Engemann "The Karate Rap" by David Seeger & Holly W. Seeger "Love Is An Illusion" by Ronnie Walker "Ninja Rap" by Vanilla Ice "Riot" by Hugh Masekela "Cavern" by Liquid Liquid "Dance" by ESG "Unwritten" by Natasha Bedingfield "No Diggity" by Blackstreet featuring Dr. Dreand Queen Pen "Wake Up in the Sky" by Gucci Mane, Bruno Mars and Kodak Black "Shimmy Shimmy Ya" by Ol’ Dirty Bastard "What's Up?" by 4 Non Blondies "Butter" by BTS "Mr. Lonely" by Bobby Vinton "Can I Kick It?" by A Tribe Called Quest
  17. Almost done with my Rebels rewatch. It’s like, you remember how incredible it was but at the same time you really don’t haha
  18. Finished. 62 hours. The game certainly dragged in the 60-80% completed range. But overall I loved it. The epic story beats and Eikon battles certainly outweighed the monotony of a large number of the side quests. I also don’t get the hate for the ending. Would I have preferred an ending more along the lines of Black Flag? Absolutely. But I thought the ending we got worked just fine. Jedi Survivor definitely still my game of the year so far but this was a fantastic experience. Oh and the scene after the credits?? 🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻
  19. Just finished the Hunts last night and the Side Quests tonight. So hoping to finish the final two main story quests tomorrow night. I’m right at 60 hours according to my dashboard.
  20. The last batch feels pretty worthwhile as they kinda start to wrap up the arcs of all the people living in the hideaway. But yeah they’re mostly for character depth and some ability points. Finishing the Hunts gets a nice upgrade plus those fights are just fun.
