Interesting first episode from a book readers perspective. I feel like they might have been better served releasing episodes 1 and 2. One covers a bunch of stuff only mentioned “off screen” in the books and then basically sets up the very beginning of the actual book. The casting seems pretty on point so far, aside from Merlin obviously. But I find the actor playing Merlin compelling so it’s a major change I might come to enjoy. Arthur, Derfel, Nimui, Gunglius(no idea how to spell any of these I’m and audio book guy) all seem fantastic. If we’re comparing this to the first episode of The Last Kingdom I don’t think this was nearly as compelling but it wasn’t bad and I’m looking forward to next week.

I dunno I thought the track list was incredible. I didnt think it was particularly poppy. I loved how the Turtles and most of the movie was decidedly very Gen Z. Very few Easter eggs or “hey remember” throw backs to the original show. And then they contrasted all that with a very eclectic and very throw back track last. The music and its utilization was probably my favorite part of the movie haha. "Ante Up (Robin Hoodz Theory)" by M.O.P. "Danke Schoen" by Wayne Newton "Eye Know" by De La Soul, Otis Redding "Scarface (Push It To The Limit)" by Paul Engemann "The Karate Rap" by David Seeger & Holly W. Seeger "Love Is An Illusion" by Ronnie Walker "Ninja Rap" by Vanilla Ice "Riot" by Hugh Masekela "Cavern" by Liquid Liquid "Dance" by ESG "Unwritten" by Natasha Bedingfield "No Diggity" by Blackstreet featuring Dr. Dreand Queen Pen "Wake Up in the Sky" by Gucci Mane, Bruno Mars and Kodak Black "Shimmy Shimmy Ya" by Ol’ Dirty Bastard "What's Up?" by 4 Non Blondies "Butter" by BTS "Mr. Lonely" by Bobby Vinton "Can I Kick It?" by A Tribe Called Quest

Finished. 62 hours. The game certainly dragged in the 60-80% completed range. But overall I loved it. The epic story beats and Eikon battles certainly outweighed the monotony of a large number of the side quests. I also don’t get the hate for the ending. Would I have preferred an ending more along the lines of Black Flag? Absolutely. But I thought the ending we got worked just fine. Jedi Survivor definitely still my game of the year so far but this was a fantastic experience. Oh and the scene after the credits?? 🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻

Just finished the Hunts last night and the Side Quests tonight. So hoping to finish the final two main story quests tomorrow night. I’m right at 60 hours according to my dashboard.

The last batch feels pretty worthwhile as they kinda start to wrap up the arcs of all the people living in the hideaway. But yeah they’re mostly for character depth and some ability points. Finishing the Hunts gets a nice upgrade plus those fights are just fun.

'The Winter King' Review: Arthurian Legends Are Reborn in Sprawling Series COLLIDER.COM MGM+'s adaptation of Bernard Cornwell's novel stars Iain De Caestecker as King Arthur. First review is up and holy crap it sure sounds like they may have nailed it! Can’t wait for next week. Almost don’t with my reread of the first book.

Saying there’s not enough in the John Wick universe to dive into other aspects of it is a wild statement. They’re an absolute master class in world building with little to no exposition. Hell you never even see things like the High Table. Now whether or not what they do outside of the movies is any good? We’ll see. But I wouldn’t bet against it. Also the correct order is 4 - 1 - 2 - 3. The Warriors homage fight scene is the best.

82% at 41 hours. The in between side mission sections seems to be getting longer which is awful feeling. But the major story/battle missions are so fucking awesome that it’s worth it. I’m ready to be done but I’ve enjoyed the ride.

Movies Talk To Me - A24's Newest Horror Thriller

Is this a jump scare movie or a sense of dread creepy shit movie? -
Lol what a clown. The most obvious answer is usually correct. The beloved star of the show is leaving. He is being replaced by a C Tier actor who has a decent amount of negative press as “not a great guy” stemming from a previous high profile relationship. That and that alone is the single driving force between the drop in viewership. Being a fair drop off from how fun S1 was coming in a distant second.

Unbreakable is my favorite by far. But I can’t lie, The Happening is one of my terrible movie guilty pleasures that I’ll watch whenever it’s on. Even in his worst movies I always love the way he makes them. The camera shots/vibe/tension I always enjoy.
