  1. yes and no. As Wick spin off we'll see brutality we wouldn't see in a Bond film
  2. I remember loving Rallisport on xbox, the rumble on that game was insane, I think it blew out one of my controllers
  3. forgot to report back that I finally finished the series a couple of days ago and thought ...hmmm this series was pretty much pointless
  4. I'd have to give it some thought, and I will but need to finish Echo first. Of course its been a while since I watched some of them so not sure how accurate my memories of them will be. Odd little tidbit in relation to Marvel shows (the Netflix ones), I really enjoyed the 1st season of Iron Fist. Not saying it was great and can;'t quite put my finger on it but just something about it I enjoyed. That's another character I'd like to see get a second chance. I actually liked all the actors they picked for the Netflix shows, some better than others but they all worked for me especially Colter as Cage.
  5. I tried to temper my expectation, especially given the other shows so far, but I was just so thrilled to see MK actually brought to life I couldn't help but want more. It better get a second season.
  6. Given the character and how insane the fights/violence can be in that comic I just thought it was crappy for us not to really get to see him in action. He's definitely one heck of a complex character and hope like hell we'll be seeing more of him the future. Watching paint dry is more fun than Secret Invasion was
  7. tried out the demo and it plays pretty well. As for paying full price. It's a damn Ubisoft game so wait two and half weeks and it'll be available for 20
  8. I am a huge Moon Knight fan and I think you're being generous here. There was plenty to enjoy but having almost all the fights, including the climax if I recall being 'blackouts' (no doubt with Jake likely being in control) felt damn cheap. There are definitely time where inferred events can heighten tension or enhance a story but that's usually in horror. You don't cut out action scenes and simply imply there was action in a show like Moon Knight. Yes the first one or two tines was fine as the Grant persona had no clue what was happening, but not almost every major action sequence. I'll have give thought to the other shows, though I liked Hawkeye quite a bit. As for Echo, started watching the second epsiode and again the CC keeps crapping out. It's the only damn show that seems to be doing it!
  9. maybe i lost hearing in one of my ears a couple of years ago and so now watch everything with subtitles on and this is the first time I've encountered the issue. Just seemed insane that it would happen on a show centered around a deaf character
  10. it gets worse...at least in the Kingpin scene you could hear what they were saying but there is now an entire scene with her cousin in which they have a conversation completely in sign language with captioning!!! how the hell do you move a story forward when 99% of the people watching will likely have no freaking clue what is happening?
  11. I don't believe this shit. I am 20 minutes into the first episode and half the scenes don't have closed captioning, hell some scenes start with it and then it just stops (the Kingpin limo scene specifically). Seriously of all the shows for them to screw up CC on, the one featuring a deaf mute is not the one
  12. still chipping away on this. Shocked by how long it is. 45-50 hours in and I think I still have a few main missions left, though I definitely feel like I am getting near the end.
  13. didn't watch but on twitter there are a ton of vids from the red carpet and WTF half the women look like they've either been crying or trying desperately not to cry, especial Natalie Portman. Something happen before the thing started?
  14. It does suck, but I'd still love to see more DS9 maybe I was never paying attention but I don't recall any issues with how he played the character. The issues centered around race were always quite powerful. Though I will say his character's open hostility over racial matters always seemed a bit odd given the time period and the other series tended to have made it seem as if race issues (at least in terms amongst humans) were resolved. Of course like I said, those episodes that touched on the racial issues tended to be some of the best ones. It also helped that unlike the other series DS9 had the what I considered to best overarching storyline.
  15. Finally finished up Holly. What an ending. Great story, if only King wasn't suffering from TDS so badly. Seriously these last several years it's gotten insane. I recall when I enjoyed his tweets. But all his fun pics of his dog Molly have been replaced rants about Trump. The uncontrolled anger can't be healthy, and how much time is the man spending thinking about the man? It's annoying but not so much that I don't already have his next book ordered.
