Movies Infinity War revisited
EternallDarkness replied to EternallDarkness's topic in The Performing Arts Centre
Curious as to what I posted you think is a spoiler? -
So I've rewatched Infinity War a number of times since it came on Blu-ray. Still enjoy the heck out of it and love how they gave each character their own moment, and I am definitely looking forward to seeing how they wrap this story up, but I must say the more I watch it the more I dislike two things. (well 3 things actually) 1. Not a fan of Tony's nanosuit, with it being able to be and do anything. 2. Cap's wrist shields. I just don't like them. I want Cap throwing that shield around. And third, though this is kind of a complaint that originated with Black Panther the 'digital' masks, Iron man, Black Panther and now Spidey all have they helmets/masks that just disappear dissolve. I get why they are doing it, but it just feels cheap. Starlord has something similar, but he at least has to push a button or something to make it happen. None of these are deal breakers of course, just minor annoyances to me. On a side note I just noticed that all 3 captain America's are coming back to the theater for Marvel 10th anniversary, and even though I've watched Winter Solider like a hundred times, I may have to go see it again on IMAX.

Books What Are You Reading or Listening To?
EternallDarkness replied to rc0101's topic in The Performing Arts Centre
@Nokra 's recommendation of The Stand is a good one. It's a monster of a book, both in length and the scope of the story, whereas Bag of Bones is a more intimate ghost/love story. I can still remember reading the Stand when I was 8 or 9. I remember bringing it with me to school and my teachers questioning whether it was appropriate material for my age -

agreed, in fact I knew she looked familiar so I looked her up on IMDB to see what else she had been and was shocked when I saw her age -
maybe for some. only time I ever get food/drinks is when I take my nephews to see something, the markup is crazy stupid...when you're charging more than airport or theme park prices that's when I saw FU to the theaters. As for the ticket for 8.99, might be a good deal in some places but like I said at the Cinemark near me the tickets are cheaper than 8.99 already

Even though I've owned the book forever, I never got around to reading it, will likely start it soon to see how they compare. But the weather is crappy here so I ended up seeing it again today, breaking in the AMC A-list pass. -

Fun movie, don't fooled by the campiness of the trailer, it's definitely more 'thriller' in the Deep Blue Sea style. Is it great? No, but it was pretty dang fun and I would definitely watch it again...and since I have the amc movie card there is a chance I'll do just that. -

he means from the TV series, much like many wanted the kid from the Flash tv show to be in the justice league movie -
Anyone watch it? I had it on my DVR and blasted through over the last couple of days. I have to say it was much better than I expected coming from ABC Family or whatever they call it these days. looking forward to see what they do with season 2
