  1. So I've rewatched Infinity War a number of times since it came on Blu-ray. Still enjoy the heck out of it and love how they gave each character their own moment, and I am definitely looking forward to seeing how they wrap this story up, but I must say the more I watch it the more I dislike two things. (well 3 things actually) 1. Not a fan of Tony's nanosuit, with it being able to be and do anything. 2. Cap's wrist shields. I just don't like them. I want Cap throwing that shield around. And third, though this is kind of a complaint that originated with Black Panther the 'digital' masks, Iron man, Black Panther and now Spidey all have they helmets/masks that just disappear dissolve. I get why they are doing it, but it just feels cheap. Starlord has something similar, but he at least has to push a button or something to make it happen. None of these are deal breakers of course, just minor annoyances to me. On a side note I just noticed that all 3 captain America's are coming back to the theater for Marvel 10th anniversary, and even though I've watched Winter Solider like a hundred times, I may have to go see it again on IMAX.
  2. I loved my ass off when I saw the movies they are offering, half of them aren't even playing anywhere ...so glad I switched to AMC A-list.
  3. @Nokra 's recommendation of The Stand is a good one. It's a monster of a book, both in length and the scope of the story, whereas Bag of Bones is a more intimate ghost/love story. I can still remember reading the Stand when I was 8 or 9. I remember bringing it with me to school and my teachers questioning whether it was appropriate material for my age
  4. agreed, in fact I knew she looked familiar so I looked her up on IMDB to see what else she had been and was shocked when I saw her age
  5. it's movie roulette, you never know what is going to available to you from minute to minute
  6. maybe for some. only time I ever get food/drinks is when I take my nephews to see something, the markup is crazy stupid...when you're charging more than airport or theme park prices that's when I saw FU to the theaters. As for the ticket for 8.99, might be a good deal in some places but like I said at the Cinemark near me the tickets are cheaper than 8.99 already
  7. Even though I've owned the book forever, I never got around to reading it, will likely start it soon to see how they compare. But the weather is crappy here so I ended up seeing it again today, breaking in the AMC A-list pass.
  8. Who is it geared toward ...people who don't go to the3 movies AT ALL?!?! Seriously you get 1 ticket for 8.99 ...which is actually more than a regular ticket costs for almost all showings at the Cinemark near me.
  9. Deadline reports 44.5 million for the weekend 16.5 Friday 16.1 million Saturday which is either a 1% decrease or a 30% increase if you don't count the Thursday preview.
  10. not sure where you are getting that, I've seen mid 30s
  11. Fun movie, don't fooled by the campiness of the trailer, it's definitely more 'thriller' in the Deep Blue Sea style. Is it great? No, but it was pretty dang fun and I would definitely watch it again...and since I have the amc movie card there is a chance I'll do just that.
  12. ditched moviepass earlier this week and signed up tonight for AMC a-list and this is the first movie I'll see with it, tomorrow morning on IMAX
  13. he means from the TV series, much like many wanted the kid from the Flash tv show to be in the justice league movie
  14. cancelled my moviepass this afternoon. 10 months 35 movies, can't complain. I definitely got my movies worth. I'll be jumping on to AMC's A-List, just being able to order tickets in advance makes it worth the extra money, not to mention the various enhanced formats.
  15. Anyone watch it? I had it on my DVR and blasted through over the last couple of days. I have to say it was much better than I expected coming from ABC Family or whatever they call it these days. looking forward to see what they do with season 2
  16. Saw it today and definitely enjoyed it, except for the fact that I saw every twist coming a mile away
