  1. So....can someone someone enable my laziness and tell me the following: I currently have PS Plus, do I have to actively sign up to this new thing or will it kind of roll over into a new equivalent? Will I keep all my PS+ games I have installed?
  2. What in the fuck?? That is infuriating man.
  3. I didn't care for the trailers or anything but still wanted to support Eggers. Went to see it and yea, it wasn't my cup of tea and I thought Skarsgard was surprisingly weak in this. I can't put my finger on it but I just couldn't see him as anything but...Skarsgard cosplaying and constantly falling into like five different accents. It's almost a cliche to praise Dafoe at this point but every single short scene with him in it was legit the bright spots in the film for me.
  4. My ex-girlfriend's mother texting me and basically creeping on me earlier today. I wish I was making this up for the lulz. I feel like I need a shower.
  5. Before I toss it on ebay I wanted to see if anyone here is interested, apparently it's rare as fudge. This is the complete in box US NTSC version.
  6. I stopped somewhere in the middle of S4 actually. Restarting right now because damn I remember barely any of this. Also I was watching it on TV and the commercials were KILLING it.
  7. Breaking Bad already yeah, agreed. Better leaned into that even more. I love that kind of Americana/Western loneliness they manage to evoke.
  8. I haven't read much about the reception in general so I don't know if many people noted this already but the cinematography is incredibly good. There was a scene of Kim smoking in a dark garage and Jimmy walking up to her or something along those lines that could've been an Edward Hopper scene.
  9. I'm rewatching this from the beginning because I kind of dropped off at some point despite loving it. Man, McKean as Chuck is such a fantastic role among SO many fantastic roles here. I grew up watching Spinal Tap on a regular basis and it somehow still blows my mind that's him despite having seen him in tons of other shit too. I can appreciate the show even more now without commercial breaks every five damn minutes and man do I appreciate how much it values the viewer's intelligence.
  10. Granted the older beat em ups have that as well, the whole you can't do what your enemies can do, but SoR4 definitely takes that disparity to new heights and it frustrated me a lot especially on Hard. There are some bosses, like Max (the wrestler), that just turn into a non-stop hyper armor fest while you move at like 3mph and they zip across your screen like their asses are on fire. It really just sticks out a lot to me because the rest of the game is great.
  11. SoR4 is a bit meatier than the old games, a bit deeper, but in my opinion with that came with some annoyances. The game heavily relies on enemies randomly hyper-armoring through your moves, blocking or other stuff there isn't really a particular counter to. Like it's not like you see a hyper-armor move come in and you have a parry. It kinda feels like the enemies' movesets evolved more than yours in a weird way. It's a great game in many ways and I spenr a lot of time with it but the more I played, the more some of those design choices pissed me off. I especially don't like how slow your characters feel compared to half the enemies that constantly run away.
  12. I still think the original arcade version of Final Fight and then Streets of Rage 2 are the peak. Vendetta was cool as hell too.
  13. Any positive reform to immigration-related issues in this country is welcome as far as I'm concerned. The asinine bullshit I've put up with and hoops I've had to jump through despite not having a nearly-as-complex case as some others may have is absurd. What is technically "immigration fraud" is still hands-down the best, and easiest, path to citizenship.
  14. Change and uncertainty is scarier than living in sub-optimal conditions. We've all chosen that at one point or another I wager.
  15. Check out Fight 'N Rage I keep reading that it's really good.
  16. Some tips if you'd like! I really recommend turning Auto-Run on. There's never a point in this game where you running isn't the best combat option. I also mapped Dash to L1 and Interact/Grapple to R1 and it helped me personally immensely. Game is more about movement and evasion than precision shooting, think of it more like a 3D Contra or something than a TPS and I think it'll be way easier to grasp
  17. Seriously, it's really good content. Also the added story and lore content is really good and possibly even creepier than the base game if there's such a thing. Also, I forgot if you were involved with figuring out some of the plot beats and so on but to me, this clarifies quite a few things so far. Well, as far as any of it can be trusted ever in this game.
  18. Yeah I didn't think Archive 81 was amazing or anything but there was something about it. Until they inevitably it often had a surreal Silent Hill vibe. I also love Horror with isolated/enclosed locations that people just can't get away from.
  19. I only have Prime and Netflix but rarely find myself even going into Netflix at this point. The only reason I do now is when I go on the millionth Seinfeld or Comedians In Cars binge. Last show I watched was Archive 81 and they cancelled that shit right away so.
  20. It's got VERY good reviews on Steam as well. Sitting at Overwhelmingly Positive. It looks super fun
