  1. Yup. It's pretty clear that the owner stepped in to get Young. I don't necessarily think Reich is the answer or a great coach, but he did get screwed by the situation.
  2. Smokers don't just affect themselves. They ruin the lives of their kids and affect whoever is around them. Every smoker smells like absolute shit and leaves that in their wake. Ever been in an elevator after a heavy smoker?? Jesus.
  3. The multi-billion idea is to start with a young Napoleon under Pasquale Paoli. Then after a few seasons recast with an older actor, and go through Napoleon's rise to power. Eventually, when the timing is right, you create a spin-off about the Peninsular Campaign and center it around Wellington. Then, you advertise the final season as Waterloo, a TV event 10 years in the making.
  4. Macbeth was so damn good that I want more Denzel in any movie version of a play. Denzel as John Proctor?? Someone make that.
  5. So does KJ Wright. Someone weird going on with Seahawks linebackers (and I don’t just mean an inability to defend a McVay or Shanahan offense).
  6. Geno is questionable and they promoted the 3rd string QB from the practice squad, so yeah. I bet we see a lot of Drew Lock tonight which will mean tons of big plays (for the defense).
  7. It’s the biggest offseason for the Mariners in 20 years and they’ve already made two moves: trading for a utility guy and then a salary dump.
  8. I don’t think the problem with the ending was where it ended, but rather how abbreviated the journey was to get there. D and D (don’t care enough to recall their actual names) wanted it over and so just used a giant ellipsis for the final season. What should have been multiple seasons was wrapped up in one short wretched one.
  9. I just think he’s bland. A lot like him but I’ve never gotten into anything of his.
  10. $500 Washington 1. Pollard 2. Montgomery 3. JSN 4. Hill 5. Houston, New Orleans, Rams
  11. Sanchez isn’t actually that bad. As for Bradshaw, I don’t think I’ve watched one of those halftime shows in at least 15 years. I think Bradshaw’s brain actually died at least 20 years ago.
  12. Worst officiated game I’ve ever seen. They gifted the Rams a touchdown with a joke of a DPI.
  13. My god CBS sucks. The picture quality looks like it’s from the 90s and the announcers don’t know anyone’s name. Fox >>> CBS and it’s not close.
