  1. I’ve been meaning to, just haven’t got around to it yet. I’ve been following it and the ever expanding Sheridan-verse from a distance, mostly via The Watch podcast.
  2. I thought it was hilarious when I talked to that vendor for the first time, and there’s an option to ask him what he recommends. “Hey, you might want this key item you’ll use for the rest of the game.”
  3. You equip and use them as an item. You can only summon in specific areas, usually near bosses, after you’ve activated a “summoning pool” nearby.
  4. I had to look up this Tree Sentinel everyone is talking about, not realizing it was basically one of the first enemies you (can) meet. Yeah, I ran around that dude at first and just haven't been back there.
  5. Elden Ring will keep me busy for a long time, but I’m probably going to get Triangle Strategy to have on hand as a cool down option.
  6. There’s so much weird shit going on in this game, and I love it. I found a mausoleum which lets me duplicate a remembrance. WTF is that? (not really asking, I’m sure I’ll find out eventually)
  7. Is it about that one part of Baltimore where drugs are legal?
  8. I just played for a good five hours straight, something I haven't done with a game in... years? Maybe TLOU2 was the last time I had a session like that. On one hand, I felt like I did a lot- explored, uncovered some wild corners of the map, found a bunch of new items and materials I don't understand, beat a boss on the first try (but is was just the pumpkin head guy, which didn't even feel like a boss fight). But every other boss I found felt damn near impossible at this point. The fact that I got humiliated so many times in so many ways one day, yet I'm already itching for the time I can play again tomorrow... this game is special.
  9. Horseback combat rules. Timing a heavy blow with an axe while charging at an enemy feels so good. I followed the path the castle that it starts you on, but didn't feel up to that boss, so instead I just rode as far south as I could. I found that some other grace sites started to point me in another direction, towards another castle (which I assume will at some point be "critical"). Seems like a really good balance of being open while providing some guidance.
  10. This is fourth hand info from a random Redditor, but they said he held up another production because he was always playing video games in his trailer.
  11. Downloading now. I've still only seen like 30 seconds of footage from this game. Can't wait. Should have scheduled my vacation for now instead of a month from now.
  12. It is wild that a new COD every year has been such a reliable thing for so long. I’m sure there will be some big Warzone update and a lot of people won’t care that a new game isn’t coming.
  13. I think I played some of the 3DS game, but I've sampled so many of these Atlus games over the years (and bounced off most of them) that I don't remember. But yeah, this is prime - buy it when it's $20, play it for 5-10 hours, then never think of it again - territory for me.
  14. Finished up Metroid Dread in time to dive into Cyberpunk. Once Elden Ring comes out, I’ll be alternating between those.
  15. One step ahead of you, dude. I didn’t have any money in the bank in the first place!
