  1. But he can read and regurgitate what non - goobers have told him, especially if positive for him........ Which he did.
  2. Is anyone surprised? Trump has been saying November since forever; mentioning Pfizer's work was looking promising long ago. https://youtu.be/WWkXui7cics (don't post here enough to know how to do this correctly.
  3. Definitely agree; and popular to all, and not just part of their base. If one thing was shown in this election, a lot of what they want to pitch, isn't popular. Side note: was talking to my sister, she is all about Harris becoming President, Howard alumni love, she even stated that "she wouldn't mind if...." then I finished the thought for her, "..... if Joe didn't make it through the first term." Over/under two years of Joe's years as President?
  4. Agreed. Based on these elections results, I think 2024 is going to be far more interesting. Democrats will have to run on a real platform, instead of "I'm not that guy," and Republicans can lean into the Latino vote that wants nothing to do with the thought the type of government that brought them here. Also, if the condition for black America look the same, you'll either have defections to the other side, or apathy towards voting. Republicans will be able to speak louder that the Democrats are just using you.
  5. Yeah, I agree with that. The similarities I see are in the lack of culture, both have that full of transplants feel.
  6. Make your money work for you, not work for the money, that should always be the goal.
  7. I smell a soft batch cookie. A real man would have ripped it off himself. And bleeding, <shakes head>, I guess they don't build them like when America was great.
  8. Hey, I can only say no thank you, take me off the list, have a wonderful day so many times before I enjoying the communication.
  9. My children's school system goes back tomorrow, mine will continue to be remote. The community (second most liberal city in Ohio) demanded the schools be open. The initial plan was to basically have the kids doing remote learning in school (work from their laptops at their desk), but the community got wind and shut that down. My eldest's teacher was telling us some of the "precautions" like they have to quarantine books for 14 days after use; if you have to do all that what's the point. The teacher also felt the student were getting far more instructional time since she didn't have to do caring portion of her job. I've thoroughly enjoyed all of us being at home. While I was already an involved parent, this opportunity to be involved in their daily education has been nothing but a blessing. It really has me thinking about stepping away from the working world when the kids reach middle school. My wife, who teaches in the one the poorest areas of the country has said the parental engagement has been far beyond what she gets with in class learning; and that it seems it suits the lives of the parents better; yes sometimes work gets done at midnight, but it gets done.
  10. Yup, asked a few cousins and friends that live out there, all will vote for Joe today, but they will also vote for 22. The rationale I've been given, they don't want to potentially take away jobs from people that want them, nor do they want to pay more for their rides. I'm sure the later is more important than the former.
  11. I had been getting those (as well as the ACLU, Black Voting Block, Progressives) multiple times a day for the last month, about two weeks ago I started sending back a picture I took of a road side Trump rally; they message me back that they'd take me off the list. Worked like a charm until two nights ago I started getting the calls. That was fine though, I waste those people's time like I do the SS# and iCloud scammers. Hilarious to hear them swallow their words when I tell them I'm fine with either guy; they struggle to tell me to have a nice day if they tell me at all.
  12. Had Kanye been on the Ohio ballot, I probably would have voted for him. Every other election I vote for a 3rd party in hopes that one day the dam will break and we have more than two "legitimate" options.
  13. Don't call it a come back, I've been here for years. Edit: the edit option is in a different place, lol.
  14. Picking this up. My three year old discovered Breath of the Wild a couple weeks ago, completely took him off Monster Hunter. His only complaint is not having enough enemies to fight; showed him this and he hasn't picked BOTW up since.
  15. Not at all. I'm cool with either guy winning (didn't vote for either). Looking forward to the end of calls and text. Also taking note of how soon the BLM signs come up after today, in the neighborhood for the hilarities; but I am looking forward to them coming up as well.
  16. You would think the democratic establishment would see this is as a blessing with coming (now here) election. Win the presidency, the house, the senate, have ACA overturned, introduce a new bill, more comprehensive, better for the people, that doesn't capitulate to the Republican. But that would mean they would need to have not only vision, but the stones to follow through on that vision.
