  1. No problems there, being able to agree to disagree keeps the channels of communication open, so important, its always my goal. Appreciate the sentiment. I tell the strippers when they come sit down looking for money, I'm the most interesting person they'll meet tonight, and that's how I'm paying. 9.9 times out of ten, they get naked, and leave entertained when my food shows up (the real reason I'm there). Edit: note, I haven't been to sit down since Feb 2020 when the wife I went. We have gone to pick up food a couple time. Covid precautions.
  2. Cannabidiol Inhibits SARS-CoV-2 Replication and Promotes the Host Innate Immune Response After my 2:30 pm meeting.
  3. CDC (data, high level individuals inside), NIH (published studies, etc..), Cleveland Clinic (doctors | executive management inside), data out of Israel. From a data perspective its the survivability rate; its just not something that is an issue for the vast majority of the population, especially the buckets with which I am in, so it doesn't drive a cause for action. You know what, I'll agree that, because I'm generally healthy, fit, with no underlining conditions, I can "selfishly" wait and see as more information comes. Lord willing, I can live with that. Have to make this clear; I'm not against it for people that are at risk (not an anit-vaxxer | masker), I'm just not keen on it for me at the moment (based on the current information available).
  4. Oh yeah, my favorite godlikeproductions.com ( @Commissar SFLUFAN apologies if posting this is not allowed) is beyond hilarious. End up there looking to build a DIY observatory on the family land; a couple people on the site have observatories that you can remote in and use; found the other content and get a good laugh at least once a month.
  5. That's just crazy to me, especially with ADE being something the shot makers and the CDC are concerned with.
  6. Good for them; if you are in the financial and health position to take your time to make a decision, you should do so. Don't let greed get you.
  7. See that's just crazy to me. But I've never taken a flu shot, I don't really do medicine (like I said, taking a generic Tylenol while I had Covid was the first time since 2008), its just not something I've had to do. ~2 gal of water, prescribed D2, Vitamin C, and Niacin (flushing), and Zinc (occasionally) is my daily regiment, and its work well for 15 years; usually only get sick when I miss it (makes since, I've conditioned my body to need the input). So to sign up to need something from the government to stay "healthy", I'm not interested; once you are in, you can't get out. One and done (or at least an end in sight), I'd be OK with. When that comes, and other issues have been vetted, I'll roll up my sleeve.
  8. Its not something I've every clicked, its likely that I've seen articles posted but thought the content was silly so I skipped over it. I don't really do "the internet." What I go to is fairly curated; financial news, supply chain | operations news, video game news, and funny racist sites.
  9. Naw, I don't generally don't operate on feels, its a waste of energy and leads you to making rushed decisions most of the time. I like to take my time and study the information; I give all points opportunities. In this case, the numbers state I'll likely be alright; that's just not something that can be refuted with all the current data available. This allows me time to investigate the information as it comes. Just curious of you all, if you have to get six month or yearly boosters to stay classified as "vaccinated" would you? (Fauci on the number of boosters... unknown 7:00) Even beyond that, would you have if you didn't get the shot at the time of little information. Been reading back through, you all were definitely thinking (celebrating) no mask, removed restrictions, no catching, no passing, etc...
  10. I do now (thank you sir/ma'am/person), not familiar with Onion; also didn't catch the site when reading the clipped post (I see it now). I did think the job that was mentioned was silly and wondered why she would go that route, but left it to each their own. So it got me, but my point still stands.
  11. Possibly. Don't know or care either way though. Have something against people with disabilities?
  12. She'll likely be OK. With the labor conditions as they are, she'll find a job paying close to what she makes, maybe more; if the mandates "take" there is going to be a lot of under the table money passed along to those that are interested in doing (much like the undocumented worker).
  13. I would say more so keeping them but moving goal post to appear right. But whatever its been entertaining for years. I wouldn't ask for a different bunch individual group thinkers; though I would bring back a couple that I really enjoyed (Irreverant (sp?), dude / lady with the Jaguars mascot avatar, muscly dude that lives in BMore that gave me dining recommendation, the Virgin Mary burier).
  14. Staying in Fairfield. Just in case you want to vacate, lol. You should be alright though, I've been in the area at least once a month since March.
  15. Ummmm no thanks? Not sure what a pork roll is, but it doesn't sound appetizing. Is Paterson in North or South Jersey?
  16. From time to time I have to do so for work; I take all the advised precautions. Plus when I do, I'm usually making people lives easier or keeping people in jobs; I'm a welcomed visit. However, if they eliminated airline travel for people like me, I would oblige.
  17. Oooo, that could be really dangerous for a large amount people (but statistically small), touches on that empathy piece Citizen mentioned. Unempathetic me would have been all about letting natural statistics take its course in this (and many) situation. But I try not to go full Daniel Planview (one of my all time favorite characters), even if I get the rationale.
  18. I wont disagree there, I've been working on that; became an Open Table member for just that reason. I'm in the growth process.
  19. <shrugs shoulders> My intelligence or lack there of has worked fairly well for me so far; how's yours working for you?
  20. Whose to say what is avoidable and what isn't, who should be where and who shouldn't; I wont be the one to do so, as that becomes a slippery slope. I'm just stating I'll participate in the system where allowed. Quite a leap you take there though.
