    Disney+ Walks Back Decision to Remove a Single Title After Fan Backlash WWW.CBR.COM Amid its coming streaming content purge, The Walt Disney Company reverses its decision to pull the documentary Howard from Disney+. That's one less. So I guess it's possible not all of them are ultimately getting pulled.

    WALL-E was robots but what if feelings But that movie was more about societal changes and humanity. IDK it felt like that one had more to say than just its base premise. Up was perhaps their most original movie. But also Soul was pretty great conceptually, and it's almost to the level of their greatest movies. Underappreciated IMO.

    Didn't most of the veteran directors leave or retire as well? I know Andrew Stanton left, not sure if Lee Unkrich (fuck spelling) is still there. I think Pete Doctor is the head dude there now? Not sure who's left.

    Just speaking for myself, my excitement for Pixar films has almost totally disappeared. I think the problem is as soon as I see the premise behind most of their films, I feel like I already know every major emotional beat is going to be. I doubt that's even true, but their formula has felt more pronounced as of late.

    Your cynicism is understandable. I'm not even one of the ones discriminated against and I feel the hopelessness. The abortion banning stance is a good way for the GOP to lose voters, though. I have to laugh about that. The dog catching the bumper analogy being tossed around is on-point. Legalized abortion has been the standard for so long, entire generations of people have lived knowing nothing else. I really don't think any other issue hits regular, moderate centrist folks quite as hard.

    Yeah I'm disappointed in this. I honestly admired this man for a long time. No he hasn't innovated the gaming world in many years, but he was instrumental in starting it up in its current state. Yet another situation where you have to separate the works from the person.

    Wow that bombed worse than the opening scene to The Last Jedi. The one involving bombs.

    I watched the three currently available episodes, and this show is VERY uneven. The tonal shifts are especially apparently in the latest episode. It's really cheesy, and the pacing so far is... odd. But I want it to be good because I really like the look and style, and the premise they have here.

    Yeah I wonder if they take into account videos still getting active views and comments. I'll have to backup videos on my late father's YouTube channel of him playing music at folk festivals.
