    I need to replace the surge protector/UPS i had my TV and PS5 connected to because my last one started making a loud alarm sound. I tossed it out because i couldn't get it to shut off and didn't want to annoy my neighbors. I just want a not too expensive surge protector this time because my new apartment doesn't have power outages all the time like my last apartment.     You have to use save migration in the PS4 version to transfer your save to the PS5 version.

    No because i tossed it down the garbage and i didn't have the tools to open it up anyways.

    Figured out what the real problem i was having before and it wasn't the PS5. It was the CyberPower Surge protector/ UPS i bought a couple years ago that was causing the alarm sound. It went off tonight while i was sleeping which it hadn't done before. I tossed it out because i couldn't get it to turn off and didn't want my neighbors to complain. Maybe the PS5 overtaxed it? Or the one i bought was a piece of junk.

    @JPDunks4 I think i figured out what the issue is with the save transfer. It looks like you can use the PS4 save only on the PS 4 version downloaded on the PS5. The PS5 version seems to be completely separate from the PS4 version and it even has a separate trophy listing. I currently have both versions downloaded on my PS5.
