  1. That's what I was talking about, so I understand. Took me at least 4x the average drop rate, had to keep track myself when the slay count maxed out. I was so glad the remaster didn't have that.
  2. I do loops between 2 bridges on a paved path (the whole route is on Google maps) along a canal. Last summer 3 laps was less than 10k but this summer 4 laps is around 14k so the same distance was less than 3.3k last year but about 3.5k this year. Also, Google thinks I run across the water multiple times rather than using the bridges and occasionally go way off course.
  3. Played a bit of Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition and then started Final Fantasy XV.
  4. Finished Phoenotopia: Awakening. I started on normal difficulty since while things like the stamina system were annoying it still seemed manageable but eventually I got fed up and activated a bunch of things to make the game easier. There were a few optional things left to do but I can't be bothered.
  5. You either need to beat him in 1 round so that your party doesn't get wiped by Immaculate End out or use auto-revive items so that you can survive the attack and have longer to beat him. I went with the single round strategy. You'll need to practice to learn how to avoid his attacks. Once you're good at that the next hard part is making sure you can prepare properly for the stagger and then execute the right sequence of attacks to take him out before the stagger ends. If you fail to take him out before the stagger ends you might be ok like I was, if he doesn't have much HP left and you're able to spam magic to finish him off before he wipes you out. I think I finished him with the last of my MP. I'm pretty sure this is what I used: GUIDE: HOW TO BEAT WEISS EASILY IN 10 STEPS - FF7 REMAKE - Wow pro WWW.WOW-PRO.COM Welcome to my 10-step strategy guide to to defeat Weiss easily in PS5 FF7 Remake Intergrade. Introduction At first glance, Weiss can seem to be a very difficult boss: Any of his abilities can wreck one of your character quickly. […]
  6. The DS version was definitely harder after having played the GBA version a few years before. Even when I played the hard type version of the original I didn't really find it noticeably harder so the DS version was striking. But my bad memory of the DS version is fighting yellow flans or something like that for a 1/256 drop. I think I had killed well over a thousand of them before finally getting the drop. I was quite pleased that the Pixel Remaster didn't have that particular drop, though it did have some other rare drops.
  7. Oh right, it was the Hippaul Racing that I used the macro to record alternating button presses so I could hold a button down to autofire it, for jump rope I think I just set it so that holding the button down continuously registered clicks (I played the game with controller but for jump rope it doesn't care about the timing if you use a mouse). StealingAlwaysWorks would have been useful. There was 1 boss with a time limit that I wasn't able to get the rare steal but for the rest I turned on auto-heal and sped up the game with the boosters the Steam version has and just waited until it succeeded.
  8. Good to know if I ever replay it again. I had to set up a macro for my mouse and even then I think it took multiple tries to get it to work properly.
  9. Doesn't do best any good, but it's on Disney+ (also on Crave Starz and the Starz channel on Prime) in Canada.
  10. I'd also like some remasters of old RTS games like the C&C collection. A FFVI prequel set during the War of the Magi, either JRPG or Ogre Battle style, both would be better. I had given up on Katamari remasters to the point or replaying the originals of We Love Katamari and Katamari Forever but now that We Love Katamari is coming I hope they take as many years before announcing more.
  11. On the one hand it's nice to see different art styles but on the other, purposely making the framerate suck to imitate claymation sucks.
  12. You can buy games but why would you? I have 314 games on EGS but haven't spent a penny. I've actually played a few of them and hope to play a few more.
  13. Finished Supraland Six Inches Under. I didn't mind that it was shorter than the original. I got near where the chest detector was but missed it until I came back later so I ended up finding most of the remaining chests without it. One of the ones I was missing was the hardest one to get to and then my last 4 were all in the same area, so once I got there and the chest detector started beeping it didn't take long to get those.
  14. Supraland Six Inches Under, just 5 more chests to find.
  15. Finished Islets. Great Metroidvania. If you liked Hollow Knight but found it too long, Islets is much shorter. Some of the bosses are fought in your airship and are a bit bullet hell but most of the game is melee Metroidvania though you also have some ranged attacks. You can find 60 upgrade items that let you choose between 3 options to upgrade and it looks like it's not set. I only got 4 out of 5 arrow speed upgrades because of this but there's no achievement for getting all 5 and I mainly use melee attacks anyway. Had I known how it works I might have avoided the ones that give cash but then I used that cash for more melee upgrades from the shop and those upgrades seem to be unlimited though they get more expensive each time you buy one. If you like Metroidvanias give it a try.
  16. I died as I defeated a boss in Islets. After respawning at the save point beside the boss room, I returned to the boss room and it triggered an achievement for defeating a boss with full health.
  17. The only thing missing was ending with the Picard song so I just listened to that to make up for it.
  18. Finished Final Fantasy Dimensions. I rage quit it almost 10 years ago after an update lead to the loss of my saves. I figured there wouldn't be anymore updates now so I decided to give it another try. Also, there's now an option to back up saves to the cloud. I enjoyed it except for the grind. It's a lot like Final Fantasy V, both regarding the job system and the world but more grinding. I finished the main story last weekend and did some more grinding and fought some post game bosses which level up as you fight them but now I don't feel like doing that anymore so I'm done.
  19. Maybe there'll be some time travel to reverse things. Jurati's Borg could return as well.
  20. Your memory sucks Spacedock One | Memory Alpha | Fandom MEMORY-ALPHA.FANDOM.COM Spacedock One was a Federation Spacedock-type space station operated by Starfleet from the late 23rd to the early 25th centuries. The prototypical example of a "spacedock", it was located in orbit of Earth for most of its service. Spacedock One was under construction in 2257. (DIS: "Will You...
