Do you all think the original show is worth watching now? This one passed me by at the time. -

I will most definitely be tuning in........ to YouTube a day or two from now and watch all the trailers at once. -
I especially liked the breaking neck bones part

"A BR will come in the near future, not next 6 months but vague time frame" Who the hell is asking for another battle royale? The corporate leaders and shareholders? They have a completely fine base for a game. They should have made Bad Company 3 with smaller levels and amazing environmental destruction. Nobody asked for massive, empty, sprawling levels and 128 players.

The Halo Reddit had to be locked down temporarily because of some extreme toxicity directed at the state of the multiplayer. Usual threats to devs and everything. The multiplayer isn't THAT bad. Like it's a quick little deathmatch style game. It will grow bigger eventually, plus it's free. People are ridiculous.

I'm still torn on this game. It has fun moments but those moments are far between. The one match I played I spent about 75% of the match on a tall building just shooting rockets at random tanks. A big resupply box kept dropping there so I would shoot all 4 and then just go reload. In the grand scheme I probably wasn't helping my team at all, but it was sort of fun. I think I'm just angry at myself for spending $99 on the game. It brought back memories of being burned by Battlefield 4 when it launched on PS4. Had I got my Xbox earlier I would have just played the 10 hour trial and been totally content.

~*The Official Thread of Hero Cop Valor and Bravery*~
DarkStar189 replied to Jason's topic in The Political Re-Education Camp
Holy shit... I mean I saw a news story that played the body cam footage up until the guy was shot. But I figured there had to be more to the video which provoked the officer to shoot. But no....he just blew that guy away from behind. -
Movies Why Movie Dialogue is So Hard to Hear Lately

That's what I have resorted too. Anytime I watch a movie or game alone, it's wireless headphones all the way. -

I like subtitles but sometimes I feel like I'm focusing too much on the words and missing out on facial expressions and such. -
Battle passes shouldn't gather that much attention. It's supposed to be pay $10 for it, and unlock fun stuff along the way. There's a Forbes article saying it would take 200-300 hours to unlock everything right now. That's a ridiculous time commitment for the 90% junk they put in there.

I enjoyed most of the Marvel movies over the years. Always super hyped leading up to their release. All the movies slowly tieing together, leading up to a huge final showdown in Endgame. It was a fun ride. Since Endgame though... I haven't had any desire to watch Marvel stuff. I had wanted to maybe check out Wandavision but just never got around to it. Loki, Black Widow, Shang Chi, and Hawkeye I'm just like meh. I don't think I've seen any of the movies since Endgame, other than Spider-Man. For those of you who are Marvel fans, are you consuming anything and everything they put out, or are you being more selective?

I don't even know if I'm going to unlock the armor for that limited time event that's out. I think it ends today and then comes back later. It's only like level 6 I think. I played 2 hours last night and it only gave me 2 challenges that even counted toward the limited event. And the one challenge was "Get 20 assists in Fiesta mode". Which is a lot harder than I thought it was going to be. To me, Rocket League has the perfect battle pass set up. You unlock stuff at a consistent pace, and after level 70 they start giving you colored items of stuff you got earlier in the pass. And their limited time events are never really a challenge but they keep you busy. Halo's set up is so ridiculous that it makes me think they launched knowing it was going to get flak, probably needed more time, but they had to launch the game.

Agreed. Growing up my dad had a .44 magnum that I only ever saw 2 or 3 times. But knowing it was in the house and knowing I wasn't supposed to ever touch it, actually made me want to search it out. As a kid when nobody was home, I remember randomly spending a few minutes looking for it just out of boredom. Had he taught me about guns as a kid I wouldn't have had the curiosity about it.
-
For a long long time I always thought, "I should have a gun in the house for protection." There is that very small chance something could happen and maybe it will keep me safe. But as I've gotten older with kids in the house, I feel like the risk of having one in the house is only upping the risk for a horrible accident to happen. For as much as I would have to lock the gun up to keep it away from kids, it suddenly seems useless if I needed it within a few seconds of someone breaking in.
