I sorta got it to work from a post on Reddit. "Turn off, unplug, clear CMOS, and put one stick in B2. Post successful. For message "new cpu installed ftpm nv corrupted..." PRESS Y. Turn off pc, unplug, but don't clear CMOS (obviously) just put the other stick in A2" Still doesn't work on A1-B1 like its supposed to but I'm gonna try to update my BIOS today and see if that does anything. If not I'm just gonna return the motherboard.

Turn on PC everything lights up and fans turn but no video. Checked the motherboard LEDs and the RAM error LED is lit up. Made sure RAM is in the correct spot (in A1-B1 slots) installed each stick individually in the A1 and still nothing. Blown out the slots with canned air and made sure there was no contamination in the slots and pins. The RGB LEDs on top of the RAM light up for what its worth. Is there some kind of compatibility issue with the motherboard because as of now I'm at a complete loss. The Motherboard is an ASUS ROG STRIX B650E-F Gaming and RAM is a Corsair Vengeance RGB DD5 C30

I turned the process priority to high and while it doesn't improve the overall frame rate it seems to have stopped the massive lag spikes in parts so at least its playable till me new stuff comes.

Yeah I think the GPU is just fine for Act III. The CPU is whats killing it. I only game at 1440p (OLED gang) some I might be able to play Starfield at decent settings. I'm probably gonna skip this generation of graphics cards as I think everything is way overpriced right now. This mobo has PCIe 5.0 so I should be futured proofed for some time because I don't really upgrade often and usually piecemeal. I've been using the same case since 2012.

Yes RTX 2070 and I already bought a 7800x3d, 32 GB of RAM and a ASUS ROG Strix B650E-F. I think my 750W power supply should still get the job done as long as I don't upgrade my GPU. As a bonus I got a free copy of Starfield so not too shabby.

Ryzen 3600 16 GB system Ram NVidia 2700. Is that something I would benefit from? I thought that was just for higher end cards.

I would be content with playing like ass. During the coronation cut scene it literally lags for like 10 seconds before going into a slide show.

Well the day has finally come where I need to upgrade my PC. I've said in the past I'd only do it when I played a game that needed it and appearenly Act III is it. The game is almost unplayable at times especially durning some cutscenes and turning down settings does nothing. I've read that Act III is very CPU limited so thats what I'm doing first and if that still doesn't solve it then a new GPU it is.

I gave everyone the Luck of the Far Realms because its just too good not to have on everyone. Especially on sneak attack.
