I grew up with the Drizzt/Companions of the Hall books which didn't have a goofy or irreverent tone and they hold a special place in my heart.

I just wrecked House of Hope. Globe of Invulnerability with Extended Spell + Mind Sanctuary = EZ mode I took basically 0 damage the final fight.

Its how I get by with some of my conservative family members. As long as we talk about anything other than politics we can tolerate each other for the few hours we spend a year.

Yeah ill be updating my BIOS promptly. I put off putting together my new setup for a few days and just got it together today so I'm still fuckin with things. It actually isn't as bad as I thought. Its running about 65C when running Baldurs Gate 3 so at least thats tolerable until my new cooler comes tomorrow. On the plus side BG3 is running butter smooth.

I'll be playing Baldur's Gate 3 for a while. After this run I want another play though on tactician possibly with levelling mods. I'm not really inclined on an evil play though though as IMO you lose way too much content and I like the characters.

So my 7800x3d seems to be running hot. 48C-50C idles with spikes into the 70s. I tried resetting the cooler and the thermal compound spread at least looks ok from an eyeball test. I have a new CPU cooler coming and planning on returning this cheapy one I bought but like that is too hot right? @Spork3245 @cusideabelincoln

There are plenty of bills democrats have either passed or proposed to help families. Like paid maternity leave, the ACA, proposed single payer health care, subsized daycare, increased minimum wage ETC. Meanwhile conservatives have the "war on woke". Democrats help families by enacting policies like free food in school and paid/subsidized community college. Conservatives verision of family values is to demonize, marginalize and enact laws against anyone who they consider deviant.

I'm tempted to install the mod that increases the lvl cap past 12 via muticlassing and increasing the difficulty to tactician. I've hit the level cap and I feel like there is still a ton more game to play and its kinda lame not to look forward to XP and character building except only through gear and the stray brain worm. But it would be way too easy hence the difficulty increase.

I got sick two week and I used an old expired test which came up negative. There was nothing about it that made it stick out. No fever, loss of smell or anything specific to COVID. Symptoms were exactly as you would expect of a cold, but who knows.

I mean I do it with the flu shot. Its no biggie unless you are a big baby.
