  1. You didn't stop to think that maybe Galaxy was my least liked Mario game to date (more so than Sunshine, lol). I also had a problem with the moons issue in Odyssey as well. Now does this mean I don't like mario games? Heck no. 3D world was fantastic and I still find myself playing Mario 64 from time to time (I even have the rumble ed for n64).
  2. The camera was awful, Many levels were too sparse for their size and it got into a boring repeating pattern. On top of that, the hotel cleaning level can go to hell.
  3. https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/us-reports-highest-number-of-covid-19-deaths-in-one-day-since-mid-may/2020/08/12/4cafe146-dcae-11ea-8051-d5f887d73381_story.html "On Wednesday, the country reported its highest number of deaths in a single day since mid-May, at nearly 1,500. The country has now seen its seven-day average of newly reported deaths remain above 1,000 for 17 consecutive days. Georgia reported 105 deaths Wednesday, marking its second triple-digit day in a row. North Carolina reported an additional 45 deaths Wednesday, tying its highest daily number, from July 29. Texas reported 324 additional deaths from the disease."
  4. Sadly it doesn't matter what trump says because congress has shown that they really couldn't give a ***k anymore.
  5. I agree. I don't think the behavior is acceptable but I also recognize how we got here in the first place due to others selfishness that caused the problem in the first place. It's actually a pretty sizable issue in BC. -edit- I should mention the people I feel bad for the most were truckers who were treated like they had the plague early on. Places weren't even letting them use restrooms or serving them food early on (I think the provinces stepped in to solve a lot of this).
  6. Yeah. Hardcore nintendo fans are just that extra level of special sometimes. I use to clean up some much shit as a mod on the pocket boards around the time ngage and NeoGeoPocket came out.
  7. I feel for the guy but it's also worth self reflecting as to why this is happening in the first place. Due to other americans exploiting a loophole so they could go on a tourist/shopping trip or go camp in one of the parks. There were even a few cases directly linked to people coming through the border over the alaska exploit.
  8. I will admit for me it's a case of childhood memory, it was one of the few genesis games I had till my brother broke our system. Yet with that said the game still actually holds up. Think of it as a colorful/silly roguelike. The map layout, item placement and items themself are randomized every time you play.
  9. Time to fix that! It took me a while to get a copy in my collection since I rarely saw a copy locally. Yet oddly once I finally found my copy another one showed up which I scooped up for my friend who also was on a long term hunt for it.
  10. For some reason I thought the scarf thread was on BadCartridge not IGN. Man that was so many years ago and so much "WHAT THE FUCK AM I READING RIGHT NOW?!?!" -edit- God my IGN account is so old. Chakoo No Longer a Noob Joined Aug 10, 2000 Last seen Jan 24, 2011
  11. Every collection needs a copy of ToeJam & Earl.
  12. I'm warming up to the design of the PS5 controller but I still have no desire to buy a PS5 anytime soon (I barely touch my ps4 as it is, It's primarily only exist so I can play yakuza games).
  13. https://www.engadget.com/mozilla-firefox-250-employees-layoffs-151324924.html Expect more layoffs in tech at the end of the year.
  14. They didn't give a date or a range at all but it was by far one of the most complete 1st party games they showed off during that event. Sony's done this before where they don't say anything when they're not sure if a game hasn't nailed down if it's a launch game, launch window or follow up title. I'm sure we'll get clarification at the next event. Yeah he was playing Astro's Playroom. He even showed off video of him playing the game. Astro Bot was a pretty big hit for PSVR but it's anybody's guess if Astro's Playroom will actually mean anything to anybody this year.
  15. Technically the game that was used to show off the PS5 was Ratchet & Clank. Spiderman has shown up a few times in early PS5 tech demos but I do think we're due for a follow up even to actually show it in action.
  16. I quite enjoyed someone on resetera recently trying to sell everybody on the idea that the PS3 had the worst launch lineup ever. I think it's telling when of the PS4 lineup the game I would ever consider touching again was Knack (and yeah I do still own a copy of both killzone and knack). Geeze Mr. You do sure seem to have a lot of uncles working in the industry.
  17. I though they did but looking back it seems they left a giant ? which to me leads to it being on the bubble for this year or next year (based on past experience). Spiderman was at least confirmed for this year. You are 100% correct. Even with the blow of no halo, not launching anything this year would be a disaster for MS. If anything they should probably hold back the S and put all production efforts into making as many X as possible. MS & Sony will pretty much sell out of everything they produce this year anyways and the real question will be how their momentum is post holiday.
  18. It's remarkably stupid as they are actively stoping what would be high income earners that would pay back a lot in taxes. Canada is set up for a serious windfall over all of this. I mean technically we already are seeing the byproduct of the last few years and this is just going to accelerate it further.

  20. Let us know what you think about it when you give it a go. I still want to eventually grab one but it's just kind of low on my buying priority atm (eyeing the mini sega arcade this xmas and possibly a Mega SG).
  21. In software, none of those examples falls under transactions. The only one would be Tencents/ByteDance renewing their yearly dev contracts with apple. Yet there are most likely legal ways for apple to get around that in the 45 day period before either EO kicks in.
  22. I usually just check sold prices on ebay as many retro shops tend to use that as a barometer for their pricing. If the item is an import from japan then I tend to find a few auctions on yahoo auctions then keep tabs on what they sell for in the end.
  23. Yeah, it's going to be a fucking shit show when a massive hurricane hits before the election and the DRF is straight up empty.
  24. This ban won't because that is not how either of these companies work. WeChat due to WePay is tied in with banks with china for all transactions, far as I know you can't do any transaction in the app anymore without a chinese bank account. Second TikTok does not run/exist in china. Due to the nature of how china is, when TikTok creator ByteDance was looking to bring Douyin (The platform in china) to the west, they spun up a clone of the platform which is TikTok. So TT shutting down has no direct impact on Douyin in china.
