Mass Effect 1 is the first game I'm playing on my Series X. I want to see what it looks like with auto HDR.

Newegg keeps teasing me with add to cart buttons for the MSI cards, but it always says out of stock when I go to checkout.

Don't worry, there are still many of us who haven't managed to get one. We can all be sad together.

EVGA have invited me to visit their Elite Member page at release tomorrow. I'm sure it's so that when it sells out instantly I am at least looking at a fancier web page, or something. I'm not paying $1500 for a video card anyway.

Well, all of Bethesda's games will be coming, it's just a matter of when.

So... Bestbuy just let me get an order through. I just kept going back to my cart in the app every 10 minutes or so to see what it would do. I got a confirmation email, so I think I'm good? This has all been very frustrating.

Oh look, it's just like I said. Stuff comes up when I'm working. I'm over an hour behind because of this morning and then Bestbuy puts up more for a good half an hour that I don't see.

Yeah, I spent over a half hour trying to get it to work and then it screwed me anyway when it finally went through. Any new pre-orders will undoubtedly happen while I'm at work and I will miss them. I guess I just need to accept that I won't be getting a console at launch for the first time since the Gamecube.

So Bestbuy tried to authorize my card, but their system is so messed up they did it multiple times and my card rejected them. Awesome.

If i can't get one, which seems pretty likely now, I would love to buy it off of you.

After an hour of not letting me add anything to my cart Target now says it's sold out.

One thing to note about return on investment is that it doesn't have to pay back the purchase price, it just has to make more than that money would have made them sitting in the bank. If it does that they consider it worthwhile. It was the same line of thinking when they bought Mojang.

EVGA took the 30 series off of their store page yesterday when I looked. It still doesn't show as an option for me. Is anyone else able to get to the page, maybe a direct link?

Oh I'm certain games built for it will be much faster, I just wonder what it is about Xbox One games that make them load comparatively slowly (to PC) even when using the SSD of the Series... uh, series of Xbox.

Yeah, I had faster load times on a SATA SSD than the example there. I thought the same thing with the comparison they had back in the spring too. There must be something with how the game is packaged on Xbox that even with an NVME drive 5 times faster it still loads slower than my PC.

I'm interested in the world they are presenting, not so much in the lack of a party and more action fighting.

I already have almost all of those in my PS+ library already, but it's cool for anyone getting PS+ for the first time.

That's good. I'm OK with most times during the day. I have the money ready, but I kind of want to do the all access, since it looks like you actually get a discount, both in pricing and sales tax being included.

That's quite possibly the worst time they could do it for me. I get up at 5:30 for work. I'm going to have to set an alarm for 1am and hope I can go back to sleep.

I'm kind of bummed it doesn't seem like they're going to do a special Scarlet edition for launch. I really like my Scorpio edition One X.

TSMC has really good yields on it's 7nm node. I don't know what Sony would have had to do to make an SOC with yields as low as 50%.
