That's actually really cool to hear. When I first started reading this I expected to read that the dead name was still used as an oversight because BioWare didn't know, and "BioWare can you please update for my cousin", but BioWare had already done it without even being asked!

I would be wary of any reviews that are already up. Apparently EA didn't send out copies to the press until like Tuesday or Wednesday, so unless the reviewers pulled like three all-nighters in a row, or speed ran through each game, you're probably not going to get the most in-depth review going over all the changes, and if they're all worthy enough to buy this, I mean sure for anyone who's never played these games it's a no-brainer to get this, but for anyone who has played all three, and still owns them, the question of is it worth dropping $60 for an upgrade worth it is going to be a valid one.

Vanguard is combat and biotics. You're thinking of Sentinel which is tech and biotics. For whenever I get around to this I'm going to do a FemShep run, and I'll do Infiltrator for the tech and combat skills. My male Shepard from my original playthrough was a Vanguard and that was fun. The hybrid classes are more fun than the solo specialization classes IMO. I think even Sentinel would be more fun this time around since the only thing holding it back before was that it could only use the pistol unless you had already done another character and unlocked the achievement with a different weapon type allowing other classes to use it in subsequent playthroughs.

I'm Halton too, so as soon as I saw that guy's post I immediately Googled "Halton vaccines" and booked my appointment on the site. Can't wait to be immune. Can't wait to see my girlfriend again. The Summer of Fuck!

Ugh giving them false information. It had only been 11 years

I hadn't been paying attention so I didn't know if there was an announcement or something for my age (31), and thought it would open up later. Only reason I got it was because I saw someone my age on Facebook post about getting his appointment booked, and he lives in my area, so I went and checked and sure enough I was able to book.

First shot booked for June 3rd, and second shot on September 23rd! Finally! Here we go!!!

I mentioned this in an earlier post, but in celebration of the release of Mass Effect Legendary Edition tomorrow, here's Raycevick's retrospective on the Mass Effect trilogy, as well as Andromeda (which I haven't seen yet since I haven't played the game yet, but I'm sure it's just as good as the other three videos).

I didn't pay too much of the accusations of her being rather mean, but how much water does it all hold? Didn't she quit American Idol after one season because didn't like telling people "no" to their dreams? How do we know the accusations weren't from a disgruntled employee, or a misunderstanding (i.e. something like when someone says, "oh so-and-so celebrity is so rude, and thinks they're better than everyone else", when really it's just that the celebrity is actually really shy, and that's why they don't make eye contact (I'm guilty of this myself)). The legit criticism of her not making sure all the people working on the show are getting work and paid during the lockdown when she was shooting from home is valid though.

Battlefield V on last gen as in the PS4 and XBone? Yeah sure it ran fine on them because it was designed for those machines. If Battlefield 6 is designed for the PS5 and XBSX to take advantage of the leap in tech the PS4 and XBone will suffer because they won't be able to keep up, and to get them to work well they'll have major sacrifices (things like 48 players instead of 64, 720p, 30 fps, no single player (not that anyone cares about single player), etc.). Battlefield 4 came out on the 360 and PS3 when it came out with the launches of the PS4 and XBone, but it was by far the inferior version.

The trouble with it being cross gen is that if the game really is taking advantage of next gen hardware, and really making great advances for the franchise, the old gen might be severely hampered and downgraded to the point that it's basically unplayable, and no one will want to play it, leading to low sales of those versions, and pretty much being a waste of time, money, and other resources that EA could have spent elsewhere. On the flip side, if the game runs great on the old hardware, then we'll be left wondering how much the game was held back, and how much better it could have been if it had been next gen only. It's a no win situation. Should just be next gen only.
