The VRAM difference between the 3080 and the 3090 is, to me, the most bizarre part of all of this. I know that GDDR6X has such a high throughput that the 10Gb on the 3080 is not as bad as some fear it will be, but then why go all the way up to 24Gb, which is certainly overkill for anything gaming related. I'd be inclined to follow @Legend 's logic but then why call it a 3090 and make it clear that its part of the Geforce line up? Good thing we only have a few hours left to address these mysteries of marketing...

Its entirely possible! That said, both systems looks pretty great, and the games will come in time. 2020 has been rough on everyone.

In principle this is possible, as you do not technically need custom GPU cores (like Nvidia's tensor cores) to use DirectML, in actually application, based on the XSX specs, not so sure that's going to go so well.

All I can add is that While Greedfall was decent, it eventually bored me in its second half, to the point that I did not complete it. For reference, I have played and beat all previous Spiders games. As for Persona 5, people rave about it, but I just can't get into the style of narrative or aesthetic that it offers up. /Debbie Downer report
