Meh, lame first lame Barb RP option due to your next set of dialogue options being "explain yourself" or "attack". I did attack tho. I mean, I reloaded, but I still at least got the pleasure of killing everyone. Really should have been an intimidation check or something after the barb rp. Something that makes them back down from fear of losing the fight. Still was pretty funny to have Karlach gushing over the one character even tho we just killed them.

Side quests are best when they are to be done alongside the main quests. Like, you do both at the same time. While FFXVI had very poor side quests, they were generally designed to be done during your current visit to the area. FFXIV actually does the same thing in some cases. Like, it just doesn't make sense from a story perspective to do some quests after you have already resolved the zone's main issue. When it comes to games with a narrative time limit, just make it all post-game if you can. If CP77 didn't have god-awful endings, this game would be perfect for it. Overall, I hate open world games these days. This isn't my main issue but I can't say I'm a fan of it. Also, most side quests kinda fuckin' suck. In CP77 and AssCreed, they aren't even a quest. More like a task that isn't worth doing if it wasn't for some enhancement to your character.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOF So, I killed Halsin, and it turns out there is a quest that won't happen without him. I figured that any quest that involved him could be completed without him seeing as he is an optional companion. I'm unsure if I want to reload.

I'm sure I'll be able to. I've noticed as people get older, they don't exactly start sucking, they just aren't AS good. The real issue is when it comes to Adapting. Some people 20+ years older than me have such a hard time controlling a camera with the Right analog stick because they never grew up with it. Sure, they can play old school games quite well, but moving a camera while moving your character? Not on their lives.

It's a 9/10 game for me. It's like someone FINALLY realized that all souls-likes suck unless you actually copy Fromsoft. This game feels like something From could have made.

I've never really liked having the "freedom of choice" when it comes to companion classes cuz I don't want to find ways to make a character fit me better while trying to stick close to the lore. Kinda wish the characters were more special like in DA:O but that wouldn't really work since this is DnD. With that said, I have turned Karlach into a Paladin of Vengeance. I feel it is fitting to a degree. Almost as if she has a reason to be vengeful. Astarion is a Thief Rogue Bard of Swords who actually uses two hand crossbows. I feel he fits with Bard quite a lot with his attitude. Almost like a Goth Emo Rocker Boy. Shart is just a War Cleric. I'm sorry but tricky is hella lame. I've seen people say good things about it in PnP talks but miss me with that in-game. My guy is, of course, a Berserker, Thief, and eventually Champion which I feel is pretty fitting for a Durge. Maybe Ass over Thief fits better but Rogue fits no matter what IMO. I have no plans on changing Gale, Lae'zel, or Wyll, tho I might do the Paladin/Warlock thing with Wyll when I'm level 12. Gale and Lae'zel are already perfect as is. Maybe a Wiz/Sorc Gale for meta magic, but I'll save that for my Sroc when I play as him.
