    Chips and dips?

Bacon flavor shit sucks, imo. Salty Smoke flavor. There was one good bacon-flavored thing and the gods took it away from me.
  3. That's the only service no one has that I can bum off of.
  4. I don't think I am difficult to please. While I point out flaws, I still enjoy things. RE4R is easily a 9/10. ELEX is dogshit but I played it like 3 or 4 times back to back and did every faction and quest because it is the best dogshit game I have ever played. DOOM Eternal is the best single-player FPS game I have ever played, and an easy 10/10. And then there are games like BOTW, RDR2, SMO, and Elden Ring which I only gave a 7/10 at best because they aren't that good. Those will not be timeless classics I believe. And the only thing I'm complaining about with FF16 is that the graphics look generic. I still can't wait for the game to come out. I love the story FFXIV has told and I can't wait to see what CBU III does with a single-player flagship FF. I want this to be the FF6 or FF7 of a new generation. But, even if it is just that FF10 of a new generation then that's pretty darn good too.
  5. Is this coming to a service? I ain't going to the movies to see it.
  6. I actually don't think FF16 looks all that amazing graphically. At least in terms of art style. While they claim to not be using Unreal or Luminous, the visuals very much remind me of a quality fan-made UE game. Something like this: Does it look bad? No of course not. But it really doesn't stand out. High fidelity but a lack of style. This doesn't bother me as I am here for the story, but style > fidelity any day of the week.
  7. For sure there are going to be reused assets from FF14. I mean, the NPCs look right outta the character creator but in HD. But, I don't think the game is skimping or whatever. I mean, the game has been conceptualized since 2015 and it was announced in 2020. My guess is that the game will suffer from a lack of diverse world design and will be mostly limited to woodlands, grasslands, and deserts. And, I mean, Elden Ring is a beloved game that reuses a fuck ton of assets. Souls games in general do. I think FF16 will be fine in this regard.
  8. I thought this movie was great. It was faster-paced than I expected. It slows slightly when you get to the meat of the movie but in a good way that is needed. I highly recommend this movie.

    Fuck It

I don't know who you are. I was the 65th user to register to BC.
  10. Oh, I read it as you were defending RDR2, not defending RE4R. Nah. One of the first comments I made about the demo was that it controls like RDR2
  11. I mean, sure it's better, I didn't say OG RE4 had great movement, but it controls as badly as RDR2. Maybe you like RDR2's movement, but I sure don't. At least it doesn't have Leon bending over and patting corpses down each time you loot.
  12. Also, I do agree that the character movement has issues due to "muh realism" but I never had an issue getting surrounded. It has happened, but a shotgun blast or a grenade of some kind fixes that.
  13. The RNG in this game sucks. The case perks work, but I have only seen the money one work which gives you even more money in a game that is constantly throwing money at you. You can tell it works when you pick up an item and it has the attache case icon beside it. If I'm correct, the cases don't actually increase the drop rate. It instead presents you with a chance that a regular gunpowder drop has a chance to proc at an increased amount. So, you first have to "roll" a gunpowder drop and then you have to hope it procs the bonus as well. That is exactly how it works for the gold case. If there was a barrel that dropped three money chests each of those money chests would have a chance at rolling for the bonus amount. In the final chapters every time my perk proc'd I would get 2500 money instead of the 300-1000 regular drop range. It never spawned extra loot, but increased the amount of loot that already dropped.
  14. I've never really lost my appetite when sick. Covid was the exception and I did eat like 6 biscuits w/ creamed chicken.
  15. Yeah, but that's just more stuff said at Leon. Leon pretty much never responds to that stuff unless it is the combat dialogue. And that isn't really building their relationship. I couldn't care less that Ashley isn't falling for her rescuer tho. I know there are people who do, but /shrugs. I could be misremembering as I haven't played RE4 since the Wii version, but I feel like they just had a stronger bond. So, while it's not really spoilers what I am about to say it kinda is maybe so I'm going to spoiler tag it just in case and you can read it later if you wish.
  16. One of the flaws of the remake is having the villains feel so impersonal. This is more of what I meant when I said that if it wasn't for RE4, this remake wouldn't be as well-liked. The villains aren't even characters anymore. They are just bosses for you to fight as they try to stop you. I really dislike how they removed 90% of Leon's talks with the villains. Ada doesn't even seem like she belongs here anymore. Krauser too. I mean, I really feel like it isn't wrong to say that the RE4 remake lacks a story. Even the bonds with Leon and Luis and Leon and Ashley feel lesser. Old Luis felt like your buddy right off the bat, and the new Luis really never becomes more than a helpful stranger. Maybe I am misremembering, but I feel like Leon and Ashley talked a lot more, and in the remake they hardly say like 20 sentences to each other, not including the random combat dialogues that happen sometimes. If it wasn't for my memories of the OG RE4, I would have rated this game a lot lower.
