  1. Maybe. What is weird is that when I google it everyone says to use limited. But I think that is because they are using a TV where as I am using a monitor. I did try limited but it go back to looking exactly as washed out as it did before. My monitor really isn't that good. Like it is 1440p but I have always regretted getting it because color wise, the monitor is pretty bad. I've had turn brightness and contrast up while making the image slightly cooler or else it always looked way to warm and dim in general. I saw people mentioning something about crushed blacks but I'd rather have some spots that are just slightly too dark, than that god awful washed out look. And I don't think my black are getting crushed anyway. I'm also not using HDR either and pretty much no one is talking about non-HDR displays. A lotta focus on LG tvs too which doesn't help either. Even this video doesn't talk about shit being washed out but just about how blacks get crushed when not using limited.
  2. I don't know why I didn't use the RE4 demo as an example, but just look at this shit. Should be obvious which one is washed out.
  3. Wow. I really need to thank this re4 demo. So, like, the washed shit was so bad when compared to PC I didn't get it. My PS5 has always seemed dim, dull, and washed out. So, I messed with the settings. I don't have HDR so I knew it wasn't that. I scrolled down to the very bottom of the video out put page and noticed something called RGB range. I had seen it before and just left it as automatic(recommended). I just changed it to full and fucking WoW does that make a huge difference. I have played GoW and DeS with automatic on and while the games looked good, the seemed so dull. I wish I was told about this somehow. I think I remember doing the same thing on the switch as well now that I think about it.
  4. I think I'd rather play this on the PC simply due to the controls. They feel much smoother and I find it hard to aim now on console after years of not playing shooters on console. Even something like sprinting towards an enemy so I can melee them feels more responsive on PC. It is like there is a delay on console before I start sprinting. IDK, it kinda just feels more gamey on PC for me.
  5. Yeah, I don't know why, but the lighting on PS5 is like total ass for me. Super washed out. Of course I feel like even the main menu of the PS5 looks washed out. Like there is a constant filter applied at all times that makes that makes everything look dull or like it is on power saving mode.
  6. I keep replaying the PS5 demo to test the visuals I thought were bad on PC but I keep forgetting and just keep speed running the demo. Shit is hella good yo
  7. Control type B-1 is classic RE controls for the most part. Way better than whatever A-1 is trying to do. PS5 version seems to looks better texturally, but the game seems kinda washed out on PS5 for me. In general, on PS5 games have always seemed a bit duller for me. Like there is a faint gray filter.
  8. I've never head of this. Sounded like a video game until I saw the movie tag. I'll give a watch at some point soon.
  9. Unironically, have you turned your PC off then on again?
  10. No, but I have thought about becoming president, which leads into becoming a Dictator through mass violence against all who oppose, and starting a nuclear war for world domination.
  11. Less games should be like Elden Ring and more like Dark Souls 1.
  12. I can't believe you'd alter my quote like that, smh.
  13. All the songs I like that you've never heard of.
  14. By hold on I meant "do not consume" as you need to consume the item to get the additional trinket slot.
  15. @Mr.Vic20 Is there any reason to hold on to items (Trinkets Slot +1) that grant you an additional trinket slot? I know in some games items that grant power like that might have a secondary use. Also, what about card such a stamina cards or defense power cards? And are those a timed buff or a permanent upgrade?
  16. I don't agree with the idea that the souls games are patience based or however you'd like to word it. Never bothered to learn boss patterns either, at least not consciously. I kind just play by dodging the attacks and then hitting them. Sure, often I am not making the first move so I can then "punish" the boss, but I don't really consider it patience. I feel like cowardly persistence if the key to the Souls games.
