When I left plum island in 2004 that was the plan at least up until the early 2010's.  Haven't heard from any old coworkers since then.  What finally did them in, the fault line running through the town, the lack of workers, the inability to change federal law to have the diseases tested on the mainland?

Good lord my brain is fried I'm getting my animal testing facility locations all jumbled up I was thinking of AIMS in Iowa and that's still not in Idaho.

I grew up less than an hour from Sun Valley. With all due respect, you sound like someone who has never been and couldn't even be arsed to Google it. :p

 

Idaho is beautiful. Especially in the rural parts, it has a lot of rednecks, fools, etc. But the landscapes have some incredible rugged beauty. <3
