This is weird considering he's done everything from Judge Dredd to Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 to The Suicide Squad, and he's going to be in GotG Vol. 3 too - James Gunn is a die-hard comic book and superhero movie fan. This actually seems like a reasonable take. I was expecting more sourness, but he seems to mostly be commenting on how things changed and had positive things to say about the new style.
