Otherwise is makes no sense to ditch the guy at this point. The 22 season will be another brutal year in the rebuild process, with 23 being the year the team should be able to capitalize on draft talent and cap space for a good set of free agents. The job simply is not desirable unless you can change Watson’s mind, so why not have Culley in the cheap warming the seat while Caserio rebuilds the roster?
