I grew up as a HUGE Nintendo fan... but I now find the overall experience of being a Nintendo customer to be extremely frustrating in just about every way it can be frustrating.

I hate these gun nut losers. I know so many people who just lose their minds when it comes to guns. They all think they are in constant danger and the entire world is out to get them. People who won't go anywhere without an assault rifle in their truck or a concealed pistol like it's the Wild West out there. The feel like they are in danger all the time, riled up by a right wing media that profits from keeping them all constantly afraid and on edge... and a firearms industry that profits from the same. Too many guns in the world? It's so dangerous! Better buy more guns! They all fantasize constantly about being able to gun down people. I bet a huge percentage of them wish that someone would try to break into their house just so they can gun them down. They wish they can find themselves in a situation where they can gun people down. They WANT to gun people down. It's their dream. This guy has probably been waiting his entire life for the opportunity to kill someone with his fun toys.

Yeah, sadly, I also discovered that it is very hard to control most games in hand-held mode... and my switch is a switch lite. Ugh. I mostly bought it for Advance Wars, which works great with a portable, but trying to play high precision games like Mario Wonder is just no fun at all.

Not sure if Ivanka makes a good Kelly Bundy but Don Jr makes a great Bud Bundy. Eric can be Buck the dog...

I like when a thread like this pops up and I completely forgot it ever existed and I'm going through it reading, sorta formulating in my head what I'm going to add as I read down... and then BOOM, I scroll past my own post, that I don't even remember making and it already basically says what I wanted to say... good times...

In the last Democratic Primary with an incumbent running without real competition (Obama in 2012), "UNCOMMITTED" got 11% of the vote in Minnesota. So this entire media push and protest campaign resulted in a 2% jump over 2012 when there was no concerted effort to do anything.

We don't need to sugar coat it... listening to Biden speak these days is rough. I find it painful and cringy. I find listening to him speak to be difficult. Trump is a deranged lying madman who is also a nightmare to listen to... but he doesn't sound like a confused feeble old man. He sounds like a deranged weirdo.

I mean, he clearly just misspoke and said "born" instead of "aborted". This isn't even worth a second of attention.

Joe Biden has also slipped a lot. I think the idea that he can barely speak is grossly over exaggerated. That said, yeah, he's old as hell. I'm not a big Biden fan, but I'll take a husk of a man being led around by handlers I (more or less) agree with politically over a vile shit goblin like trump. I would vote for literally anyone over trump and if a Weekend at Bernies style corpse is our best option for keeping the GOP out then I guess that's just what it is. I don't have to like it... let's just get through this next 4 years.

I just hope they don't make it some sort of fantasy fulfillment for violent weirdos... we're already at the point where Fox News comments sections are full of people fantasizing about gunning down people in the street... people literally calling for civil war... we don't need to throw fuel on that fire and we also don't really need a preachy liberal finger wagging movie about it either... we just need everyone to cool the fuck down...

The right wing response was just that this is a deep state coverup and they arrested this man for nothing to cover up for the Biden's. Nothing that happens actually matters. Trump could take off a rubber mask exposing him as a weird alien who says he want to harvest the people of earth for their juice and the right wing media machine would just spin it into a positive.

I looked for it and could not find it... I think I was only in one for him... I can't recall. Probably in 1992, looking at his wiki page and remembering that I was in high school. I was in several others of various candidates when I was a kid. I think most of the extras in the ads back then were just friends and family. My mom worked on a bunch of campaigns in the 80s and 90s, but Gephardt was one of her main gigs she would go back to over and over.

Dick Gephardt, LOL. Here's a fun fact, my mom worked for him for him during multiple election campaigns. I was even in a few of his commercials as a kid / teen. I don’t want to give away too many details, but I grew up balls deep in Missouri politics. I always thought he looked like a freaky fake Ken doll. Like he was an android being driven around by a team of tiny aliens. I honestly thought he was dead.

I bet they are going to gloss over the politics and details of what happened and just drop us into the middle of a situation in this world without trying to explain everything...
