  3. Currently trying to convince friends to buy this. I just bought the original to play it again, its $13 at Target for the PS4.
  4. Pay $12 a month for one game, pay $5 a month for hundreds of games. In all seriousness, I have no desire to pay monthly subs for games anymore. I really want to play XIV, if the had a lite option I'd be all over it. Instead I'll just play Tera for a week, get sick of the MMO formula, and go back to playing games.
  5. I enjoyed Too Human and was satisfied with what it was. Too bad that the trilogy will never be resurrected. Still no Metal Arms.
  6. "The first game in the project expands on the story of Midgar" "Has become a solid standalone game in its own right" about 3:45 in.
  7. I wasn't paying attention the whole time but I thought they said that they were expanding the story of Midgar.
  8. I haven't played this game is many, many years. I guess I should with the updates that have come out over the years. This is a surprise release.
  9. I'd say it depends on how SE handles it. A lot of the early FF music has sounded pretty good when translated into more modern formats. They would be stupid to not use a lot of what is already created, but its SE.... so... Who knows.
  10. I understand being upset that its not a full release, I also understand being fine with an episodic release. Let people enjoy things.
  11. It’s not a lot of information, but MCs HUD says that he received new armor in 2559 and it was last modified by Halsey in 2561. Halo 5 took place in 2558 so this is several years after those events. EDIT: Also apparently UNSC is pretty much gone Source r/halo
  12. I lurk more than I post. I only had like 1k posts at GO before it died or before I stopped checking there anyways. Fairly certain I was going by Mystyrion or Bias at the time. Fair enough. If its worth anything I'm sorry if I was being a dick. I'll try not to read into things in the future.
  13. Assuming I don't have to read a really long manual and can just fly around decently easy I would love to play this. I also think this would be an awesome game for VR.
  14. You laugh at my post, then post a post that looks awfully patronizing. I had this very same problem within my first little while at gaming outsiders with you. Maybe I just read too much into it or maybe I just misread your posts, maybe we just misread each other, but I don't have this problem with anyone else.
  15. I’m assuming this is only episode one since they are only showing gameplay of Midgar.
  16. Replying Cool! is a good way to make me understand what I missed/misread.
  17. As someone who plays/played a lot of FPS shooters on console the controller alone is a game changer. I struggled to play Halo 5 as proficiently without it as I can't slide/boost and keep a consistent aim. I don't have to take my thumb off of the analog to push any of the face buttons (jump, reload, punch, whatever). It upped my game in MCC as well as now I can BXR while aiming instead of having to learn how to claw a controller to keep up with some of the better players. I've put 1000's of hours into Halo as a franchise alone. Not to mention the same ease of use when playing Gears, CoD, BF, whatever other FPS I've played on Xbox over the years. I've used and continue to use my elite whenever I play something on my xbox for almost 4 years. This isn't worth it to me because it costs a little bit of money? Granted I've moved a lot of my gaming over to PC, so the elite series 2 isn't worth it to me, but that doesn't mean it isn't worth it to others.
  18. https://www.polygon.com/2016/6/28/12054686/microsoft-1-million-xbox-one-elite-controllers Sold a million in 8 months. Maybe a little more popular than people just blowing money.
  19. Cool, good for you. Its like no one acknowledges that there is a market for these controllers. Scuf has been selling controllers since the 360 days for $250+. Xbox releases a first party controller that isn't someone drilling holes into an xbox controller for $150 - $180 that is much better quality and everyone flips.
