I just want to take a moment to agree wholeheartedly with this. I feel like I'm watching an entirely different film franchise when people praise how meticulously interwoven the the continuity of the MCU is. It's really not, and they've played fast and loose with continuity since the beginning, and most movies have nothing to do with other movies, often times even within the same trilogy.

In a vacuum, it's all about execution rather than what audiences want. Marvel kickstarted the most lucrative film franchise to date off of Iron Man, a C list hero at best to anyone that didn't read comics. But they didn't have Spider-Man, X-men, or Hulk which were their best sellers at the time so they did what they could with what they had. I'm still not optimistic, of course, as I don't think the execution will be there, or more importantly the follow through.

I'm hoping for the best, but expecting the worst. The true villains of the DCU mess, the WB executives, are still mucking about in the background. I wouldn't be surprised if we see part 2 of failure with the DCU. The first movie or two inevitably don't pull Avengers: Endgame numbers off the bat, execs get mad at unrealistic financial and critical goals of the first movie, begin reshuffling, delaying, and canceling movies, screw with the creative process insisting that adding a giant mechanical spider will make their movies hit 20 trillion at the box office, and eventually throw James Gunn under the bus and start over.

I'm not gonna read the article, but from my perspective I think it is. But I don't think of 'diet culture' as eating what your body needs, exercising, etc. I see 'diet culture' as the culmination of the billion dollar diet industry that thrives on keeping people obese while promising them expensive miracle cures that will never work, and obsfucating what it actually means to eat healthy.

I'm actually surprised it's taken them this long to remodel if this is recent. I think it's been at least a decade since I've seen a McDonald's that didn't have the fun, life, and soul sucked out of it so they could make it look like it belongs in an episode of Severance. Also, my guess as to what's happening is this is a whacky plot being devised by an Adam West Batman villain, and they're going to get away with it now that Adam West isn't around to stop them.

It can't even make up its mind. Does it make you hairy? Maybe, or maybe it'll make you go bald by 20 by having too much. Testosterone helps make baby sperm...unless it does the opposite. Like, make up your mind, testosterone! Not to mention long eyelashes are feminine, but it's testosterone giving men girly eyelashes? Doesn't sound very masculine to me.

I did a search for testosterone on the forums, and quite a few results came up. Seems like everyone enjoys discussing testosterone and testosterone-fueled hobbies! I'm curious who holds the highest manliest testosterone levels. @Derekwish to chime in as the resident testi expert?

Looking at it, I'm more upset that Rutherford B Hayes is sitting next to W. as he was also a one term president. George W. is the only person to become president while losing the popular vote and getting a second term.

I've recently replaced my soda intake with orange juice and cranberry juice, hoping to see a real difference soon. The cranberry is mostly for my mixed drinks, though. I've replaced my usual rum and coke with a vodka cran. Much healthier.
