    Yeah I’m coming from a surface pro and it was the happiest I’d been with a laptop. I will say this 14” is a lot more manageable than gaming laptops I tried before and it’s definitely powerful enough to max anything at its native 1600p res. I was getting 140fps maxed out in Returnal with ray tracing on p good stuff for the size. It can be pretty silent when it switches to the igpu but still gets kinda warm. Surface is definitely better still if gaming isn’t the priority.

    Also is the Activision account for COD totally separate from battle.net? Idk why they have two launchers. Logging into battle.net somehow my Diablo 3 login is banned which I can’t remember doing anything to cause at all and I barely touched that game. That shouldn’t cause any issues here right?

    Also I feel even within cities a newer part of one city might be more similar to a newer part of another city than an older part of the same city.

    You don’t need an invite, just search for “dayone” and it will show up and you can join. Also omg it has rotating Capcom arcade games you can play in the lobby that is so damn cool Also Lilly rules

    So I have been messing with other stuff on the laptop and haven’t tried 3D yet but I’m playing SF6 on it right now and it works great. I didn’t need to do anything besides plug it in and then just start gaming on the second large screen. I’m sure you can change it so they are separated but it’s kinda nice how both screens look normal at the same time. I had some fun just comparing the quality of oled to the micro led. It’s definitely a good solution to get the convenient feeling of playing a handheld in bed but with the power of a gaming laptop. The little speakers by the ears actually helps drown out the noise from the laptop too. Definitely make sure to get a rokid and not xreal as with a laptop you really want that 120hz connection. I’m going to have to get a pair now because especially for anything dlss3 you really want that 120.

    lmao so I’m really high and watching South Park while playing SF6 and you know it has kind of a hip hop soundtrack going on and then all of the sudden “fuck the police” comes on and I was just fighting and then I’m like wait they seriously put fuck the police in Street Fighter?!?!! I was about to go online to see how to high five someone at Capcom when I realized it was coming from South Park.

    Yeah I looked it up but it’s ridiculous :P Game looks so nice tho Edit: Even though it’s cross gen it’s still a bigger generational leap in rendering over five than SF5 was over SF4.

    An “internal resolution” setting with no explanation with just a scale of 1-5 has got to be the stupidest pc game setting I’ve seen this year so far

    Yeah each fighter has a little story of their own. It’s just like an opening and closing though. But it gives you a reason to beat it as everyone. It’s kind of like the arcade mode stories in SF5. I’m still looking forward to starting story mode but I had hoped that the story mode would have you playing as the street fighters instead of a custom character.

    I wish I could have been okay with a 16” laptop, I think if you are, there are a lot better options out there. Besides performing better the 16” Zephyus model has the micro led screen but with twice the dimming zones and 1100nit vs 650nit. I’m really happy with this screen, it looks amazing, but that just makes me think that the 16” mode one must really be something. But alas, I even tried going to the store to check out 16” models in person and convince myself of the size but it’s just a deal breaker for me.

    Idk if this is right. FF15 might not be super popular on message boards but it looks like it’s the best selling Final Fantasy (and Square periord outside of when they owned tomb raider) game besides Final Fantasy 7. And FF14 is hugely successful. And FFR was a huge hit as well. Maybe this game bombs but I’m not seeing a pattern up until now.     I think so, the way it asks for such a huge % as default puts me off from ever doing so tho

    Yeah I spent so long looking at laptops and it came to the fact that what I wanted doesn’t seem to exist right now so I had to find the one closest to matching. Biggest issues with this one are the fans are loud and it’s micro led instead of oled. I will say the micro per screen IS great and probably is the case for any micro led laptop, so if you can’t find oled with what you want maybe look for that. I definitely had to overpay to even get close to what I wanted right now. I just wanted a 14” 4080 laptop with an oled screen but there isn’t one.

    Sometimes there will be a side activity that is just super fun in an open world game and then I will push through on harder challenges on those. It really depends on how fun the actual activity is. Saints Row 2022 had some ones I liked.
