  1. “Games” came off aggressive and that wasn’t the intent of my reply; I was left to a guessing game as to what the confusion or issue with my joke post was about.
  2. Or maybe I mixed up names and meant Arondir but you’re replying with games instead of real responses so I can’t clarify
  3. I don’t think that was a thing. It’s the same world/history, however it’s taking place during the second age, LotR and The Hobbit take place at the end of the third age (Rings of Power is thousands of years before the events of LotR). You may be correct that it’s not the “film universe”, though, as I’d imagine that it’s more-so the book universe
  4. FWIW, it's the Balrog Gandalf fights in Fellowship, it was kinda "known" that it would be the inevitable conclusion to mining "too deep". Did King Durin know of the Balrog? Doubtful. His concerns likely had more to do with cave-ins and also being a stubborn Dwarf who doesn't care about anything beyond his people/kingdom/mine. I don't think we'll see the Balrog again for a bit, though. In the official history it's Durin VI who unearths the Balrog, but I'll assume that this show will "speed that up" and either King Durin (III) or Prince Durin (IV) will wind up with a ring of power that intensifies their greed so they mine, and mine too deep.
  5. ET is the only real timezone, my friend.
  6. I know it’s come a long way, especially recently, however, I’d avoid OLED unless it’s a second monitor for gaming and video. Burn-in is still a thing and PC constantly has static images. QD-OLED would be the way to go if you want OLED, IMO. I asked on Reddit about this not too long ago, and the replies I got were kinda “lol” worthy. “Buy a long warranty that covers burn in”, “no icons on desktop and use an app to have a live wallpaper”, “limit internet browsing and always use full screen mode for the browser when you do”, etc… like jfc, who wants to have to babysit their monitor to avoid burn in like that? Just get micro led or qd-oled ffs
  7. I’ve heard very good things of the Alienware, but I’m unsure of its HDR quality.
  8. I'd go with the Odyssey. It's the same as that 49" Super Ultrawide Micro LED one that they make, but 4k and 16:9, iirc. Double check reviews on it, though. Viewsonic also just put one out: ViewSonic XG321UG 32" 4K 144Hz Mini LED G-Sync Ultimate Gaming Monitor - ViewSonic Global WWW.VIEWSONIC.COM Experience a new level of visual performance and upgrade your gameplay on the XG321UG, featuring Mini LED technology that redefines expectations. Engineered with a pixel dense 4K Ultra HD resolution that renders every detail with incredible brightness on... I have a PG27UQ, and I love it, but would like a 32" micro led over this traditional led. IIRC, the Samsung ones are not GSync Ultimate, so they have HDMI 2.1 (hence the higher refresh rate of 165hz), so you def want to double check reviews to make sure it's "true HDR" and that it supports GSync properly without flickering.
  9. Worth noting too, anything spec'd as "GSync Ultimate" has to meet a standard which includes full (and proper) HDR 1000 (or higher) support. However, the downside is that they are DP 1.4 and HDMI 2.0, as nVidia has yet to update the GSync Ultimate spec to include HDMI 2.1, which is dumb AF. So, you'd be limited to "only" 120hz with 8bpc color depth, 98hz with 10bpc, or 82hz with 12bpc (HDMI 2.1 can do 120hz with 12bpc)... but, games are typically coded with 8bpc for HDR anyway, so, you're prob not going to notice a difference tbh. This is over DP 1.4, btw, HDMI 2.0 is more limited.
  10. Jay couldn't fit the ASUS card into a Lian Li mid-case.
  11. FWIW, if you have Gamepass, on PC, you've needed to use the EA app beta for EA games since the integration of EA Access into Gamepass.
  12. The nForce was such a good mobo for the time. Wonder why nVidia bailed on mobos.
  13. They purposely stated that they're not doing this in prime time. The previous 1pm one had a higher amount of viewers and was shown on Fox News, where as prime-time ones Fox refuses to show.
