Nah. Get excited. Im an RBR fan and Im curious what that means. Could this race be more interesting than some may have thought it would be? Have RBR gambled on a radical new design and drastically lost speed to everyone else? there were rumors from preseason testing that RBR has gotten even better on tire wear. What if the car is slower in single lap pace, and can only qualify on the 3rd row, but over an entire race they dont have to manage tires as much as everyone else? It could result in quite different tire and pit stop strategies in the race.

hmm has a court ever ruled in whether an EULA can be legally agreed to by a non-emancipated minor? They cant sign contracts without a legal guardian, so how could anything in a ELUA be legally enforceable against a minor. That would almost make every ELUA a law unto itself. Enforceable by governments and courts, but not ratified by any government.

I wonder if that could have been the catalyst for them to seek independence. MSFT retains publishing rights in some way, but has no direct control over the studio or its game unless otherwise contracted to. Like a new Crash Bandicoot game. Perhaps?

Oh how much I have missed that song in over 90 days. If Lewis does fall off a cliff you’ll still have your two camps. Those saying Hamilton has been washed up and those blaming the car. I do wonder if the signing with Ferrari has nothing to do with a chase for an 8th title and everything to do with him wanting cross off being a Ferrari driver on his F1 career bucket list. Even if it means he wont get an 8th championship. I dunno. I may be way off, but I saw this move as Hamilton signaling his retirement in ~3 years. (After a minimum 2 seasons with Ferrari).

At first I was wondering if we were referring to Nightdive as just modders now, but then noticed this was talking about a different project. They really are killing it with these remasters and remakes of classic 90s PC games. I do wonder what their ratio is of people buying the games for nostalgia vs people playing these titles for the first time ever.

I wonder what the cost is on updating and maintaining in house engines vs using something like Unity or UE. CDPR lately has abandoned their in house engine. I wonder if cost was the factor or was their in house engine too much of a hassle.

cant complain about how bad and dated the graphics look if they didn’t show them to you. Clever. interesting that theyre showing this off probably more than a year off. So yeah, probably a Switch 2 title. Though if so I bet it will be cross gen. I cant see them not getting those sales from all the switch owners that wont or cant upgrade right away. maybe since there isnt a pokemon game coming out in 2024 this means LegendZ-A will be a better put together game.

Lewis going to Ferrari is a 2025 season thing. This year he’s still at Merc and Ferrari still has Sainz. Sainz may he interesting to watch, because this whole season is going to be like a job interview to hopefully get signed for next year.

Yeah Max just riding off into the distance for the wind was kind of whatever, and I did get pretty invested in the other stories and races going on. The race at the front was so close during Vegas I lost track of any other battles going on. lol So much that I enjoyed watching the race a second time to pay more attention to the rest of the field that barely got any screen time. as for Lando Noris I kind of want to be an anarchist and I want some future season of F1 to be where Lando Noris, still without a GP win manages to still win the WDC lol I am really looking forward to the full regulation changes. Kinda pisses that FOM denied Andretti from joining in such a bullshit way.

ill be honest, I think I only felt so much whiplash from the combining of so many plots into a single episode, because I already know where those plot lines came from. Including location. though episodes 5-6 felt like they really compressed the size of the world. Made it feel so very very small, because they couldnt combine everything into a single location like they did in Omashu. but I suspect people who havent seen the cartoon will feel as much or any whiplash.

Anyone else excited for the new season? New season starts this weekend with a Saturday race. 9am CST. I started watching F1 with the 2021 season. I picked Red Bull and Max Verstappen to pull for since they looked like the only team that could topple Mercedes. And that seemed interesting to me. Still a Red Bull and Verstappen fan, I kind of want to see just how dominant they can be. Though last season I was hoping Perez would be a real challenger for the WDC. Anyways, thats part of my story.

She narrates a note left for Katara in episode 2 that Katara finds in her bag. Strangely enough her acting reading a note was better than when she was in front of a camera. either that or the editing team really fucked this show by picking the absolute worst takes for a scene.

I think I was even older as I dont recall seeing the entire series until it was on Netflix. Book of Kora though I caught the week each episode aired.

Not in season 1 anyways. Season 2 you got a better sense of that right away. Smashing episodes and elements together like they did allowed them to tackle more plot lines from the show without needing to create as many different locations. One shift in tone I absolutely did not like was in regards to episode 4. it’s yet another example of the netflix show taking out a character arc as though everyone in team avatar are already people of perfect character. Zuko looks to be losing his full series arc, by way of having another character do the awful things he did in the cartoon. Like attack Kyoshi village like a thug. Or he just doesnt do them at all. im only through 4 episodes, but Im struggling. I am sure my dad will like show though. Id never get him to watch the cartoon show, even if he likes this show. trust me, I am trying think “am I bothered because it’s different or because it’s worse”. The mix-matching of story elements is different, but I dont dislike that. However the changes to characters and their arcs is worse.

I wonder if this year was going to be new IPs or live service titles, but everything either got secretly pushed back or canceled. Because I cant imagine this scenario is in any way “all according to plan”.

I still want to finish it. Nothing Ive seen has been so egregiously bad to me. However, if you’ve seen the entirety of the animated show you dont need this show. I will recommend this show to my dad. He will never watch the cartoon series and the show is good enough he’d likely really enjoy it. He’s the target audience for things like the Halo tv show and Rebel Moon. I had a feeling this was going to continue to be an issue. Their time at the air temple was so short compared to the cartoon show, like they wanted to rush to having that scene. Episode 1 of this show was an hour and covered what was essentially the first 3 episodes of the cartoon with a bit of stuff we dont get a hint of until later seasons. But then episode 2 of the show was 40 minutes and covered only a single episode of the cartoon. With again some elements from later seasons mixed in. Total season runtime looks to be roughly the same, so it sounds clear that choices were made to present the same story differently in the same amount of time. And since they are taking later season elements and bringing them in now I wonder what the plan is for the next 2 seasons. I hope it doesnt mean they get overly self indulgent. Spending 200 words to say something when 20 would do. Slow shots and long pauses for dramatic intent that pad out a run time, but slow the pace down too much where scenes become less interesting. I hope theyre smart with their time and if they attempt to expand on the source material they do it in service of the story and world. I guess time will tell.

I just wonder, because many people thought Palworld looked too stupid a mash up of ideas to NOT be a scam. It obviously isnt, but now that it has been widely successful it will tell people, “hey there’s a hunger for ideas that almost look too stupid to be true”. Especially now that everyone is on to the “looks like a AAA open world game” or AAA MMO but being made by a small group of devs scam. i hope its not a scam. Im just managing expectations and taking a wait and see approach.

So how sure are we this isnt another Day Before type of scam?
