yeah probably so. A GTX 1650 just sounds very low lol. I too wonder about if that’s with DLSS3. I’m leaning towards no since theres no ray tracing and they have a 3070 on high settings at 1440p getting 60fps. But I guess we will see. DF will definitely let us know. lol I hope the answer is no. Id like DLSS3 get me way above 60 if I decide to turn it on.

Not getting 60fps with anything less than a 3060? Hmm. Though I guess low settings on like a 1080 or 2070 could probably hit 60fps. those minimum specs are interesting. That’s lower than I thought they’d be able to get running the game. and that’s without ray tracing. Which is a shame.

I will say if it’s true and Max does go to Merc that’s it for George Russell’s hope of being a #1 driver there. Jos and Max will not tolerate not being the favored driver in every way. You have a point if Ford pulls out over all the chaos, Red Bull may not be able to find another supplier and wont be anywhere near the front in 2026 and for who knows how long.

Not necessarily if we’re talking # of wins and championships. Is Max a 3 time champion? Yes and he may very well become a 4 time champion after this season. Him going to another team that can’t make a winning car could see him unable or struggle to win anything again. So he never beats Lewis Hamilton’s career GP win number, never even get close to 7 WDCs. That’s the kind if legacy Im talking about. And maybe he doesnt care about those records.

Max is gonna give up a car capable of being unstoppable in winning the WDC? He’d be throwing his F1 legacy away. But maybe he doesnt care about that. Maybe he is more principled than that. He’s not exactly on the best of terms with FOM, especially after the scandal of calling for an investigation into Toto’s wife and insiders in the FIA leaking information to teams. Which I still believe the only reason every team was united behind Toto was because they ALL have an inside source that leaks them info about investigations and the like. I could see FOM using this as reason to call for Ben Sulayem to step down or be removed. Even doing the tried and true threatening that F1 will pull out of the FIA. Which always seems to work to get the FIA to backdown or make concessions.

Hmm, I dunno about that. I imagine it would have to get pretty bad for Verstappen. Like the car starts to suck and the team tries to focus on Perez or another driver over him. This just sounds like people hopeful that Red Bull will implode to bring them down since no other team seems capable of toppling them or even matching them. Last season it was the whole ‘Horner was going to fire Helmut Marko and Verstappen said if Helmut goes he too leaves’ story line. Im not saying the Red Bull team is completely drama free. I just dont think it’s so cataclysmic to the team dynamic as most want it to be and are drumming up stories like it is.

I guess this means if it’s even remotely playable EA and Bioware executives will push this game out. Whether it’s actually ready or not. It will then get destroyed in the reviews and impressions, sell like shit, and most of Bioware will be laid off with questions on if ME4 is really going to get finished.

and unless the port is almost done an announcement doesnt mean we are getting it soon. We could still be 6-12 months or more out. Especially if the announcement only announces theyve just now started work on it. So it could be a 5-6 year old game by the time it actually comes out on PC. really disappointing it’s taken this long. Though some “leaks” and rumors being what theyve been lately, Im not exactly celebrating it finally coming to PC until there’s an official announcement. It could be coming to PC like Starfield or Halo are showing up on PS5

I assume even if they think they’ll lose they sue because they still have to show an effort to protect their copyright or trademark. If they let it go and somebody else comes along and monetizes an emulator or makes an emulator that actually could affect their business, it could put them on shaky ground. I do wish somebody with a lot more money was behind Bleem! at the time. Imagine if they’d won and then even console based emulators would have been deemed legal so long as you are using a legal copy of the game.

it does make me wonder if they are struggling to optimize for the low end to have it playable by as many PC gamers as possible. Like they dont want to seemingly commit to anything until they know they cant go any lower. lol or maybe they forgot to announce them.

Yeah, we’ll see about that Perez one. If Perez can finish on the podium comfortably behind Max I think he will be fine. Perez being within 2 tenths or Max only matters if another team/driver is able to even stay in DRS of Max. Good on Perez to get up from 5th to 2nd. Good on Sainz for looking he’s done playing #2 to Leclere. We’ll see if Leclere’s “brake issues” persist next weekend. The biggest thing worrying me was how little action it felt like there was this Bahrain GP vs last year. The grid kind of just spread out and at times felt like they checked out. There was a spot around lap 20 when it looked like nobody was in DRS of anyone else. Red Bull was scary good on tyre life of those softs. And poor Tsudoda. Im not really a Tsunoda fan, but he got screwed.

Yep. Thats something that has gone on I believe even before Disney. That kind of bureaucracy to jump through can still add time to development and lead to work needing to be redone.

or they decide they no longer approve of an outfit a character has because they’ve decided it conflicts with canon or possibly another project in the works, so every cutscene or asset showing them in that outfit has to be redone. Im sure the look and powers of High Republic everything had to go through multiple design and approval meetings, especially since Lucas Film is also producing other High Republic content and they wont want things to be wildly inconsistent. There were like many things as gar as story, background, revelations, etc that would be off limits to Respawn. Some possibly not disclosed until Respawn already did the work and was told to change it.

Part of the expensive is likely having to go back and get approval from Lucas Film on everything. And if there’s something they dont agree with it could cause a lot of work to be redone with multiple back and forth meetings of “hows this?”, “no? then hows this”.
