Could we see them Monday? Or are we talking Wednesday or even Thursday? I always wonder about review embargoes. Sometimes it seems like it’s because the publisher wants to hold off what they know will be mixed or poor reviews. While others are to keep outlets from rushing something out to just be first and not fully taking in everything the game has to offer. Im leaning towards the latter reason for DD2 from all the previews, unless console performance is going to be a sticking point.

Congrats! he’s a bit of a pain in the ass. My friends and I fought it again last night playing on Apocalypse. Trying to mop up any remaining rings or amulets left to find that require specific events to roll. My character is a bit of a glass cannon, but does enough damage that it pretty much focused on me the entire time. Nothing like your first time though. Getting knocked off all the time. Having to climb a ladder while getting shot. So annoying.

The part of this I find most surprising is Sega has $1B to spend. Sammy sure.

I don’t believe the tech is there yet for these self driving modes to make decisions as well as a person can. Driving aids are great for empowering drivers to make better and more informed decisions. And the reason I say the tech isnt ready, because there will still be human idiots driving around.

Is the game very character focused, like Fire Emblem with lots of interesting characters?

I enjoyed playing GRAW with friends. That was mostly pvp, but I recall there being some coop missions maybe in GRAW 2. Wildlands was definitely fun with friends. those were fun games. Dont know that they were typical Ghost Recon, and Im sure Id enjoy them if they were called something else. That’s just it really. i just want Ubisoft to make a fun game.

do you have a Tv that supports VRR? They will likely have similar performance, but with VRR you wont feel it as badly on XSX. But if your Tv doesn't support VRR then I don’t know it will make much difference unless the XSX version performs much better than the PS5 version. maybe there’s hope that what IGN was showing was a fidelity mode with an uncapped frame rate and you can opt for a performance mode with an uncapped frame rate. Then maybe you can choose that, run the game with a lower resolution and less effects and it stays around 40-50fps.

Watching DF talk about DD2 and they were showing some of IGN’s coverage showing the game unlocked on PS5 drop to 24fps in what looked like typical combat.

I guess they forgot their failure with Enterprise trying to make it “less star trek”. It didnt attract a broader audience. Star Trek fans want Star Trek. … and sure enough Pricard season 2 was panned so hard.

If on consoles theyre not using a dynamic resolution scaling I’ll be surprised if the game’s frame rate gets up to 60fps anywhere but calm confined spaces. But if theyre trying to maintain as high a resolution as possible then Im expecting it wont get much above 30fps and probably drop hard any time there is action going on.

not as much action as one would have liked, but there was some real drama on the track that at least added tension.

Way to go Bearman. Nice debut. Perez still looking to be exactly what Red Bull needs him to be so far in the season. If Magnissen hadn’t racked up 20 seconds in penalties he’d have been worthy of driver of the day too. Stroll continuing to drive like a rookie. Ricciardo still mid and getting out performed by Tsunoda. McLaren is going to struggle if they cant get faster in a straight line. To be so good around corners they must have some bad drag issues. But good on Lando for holding off Hamilton.

I didnt think he got that much practice with Zhou causing a red flag during FP3. But yeah I was wanting to see a Q3 appearance. So question is, will Ferrari fuck Bearman on strategy to get data to help Leclere, or will he be able to have a good race himself and maybe work his way up into the point? I was also hoping to see Alonso on the front row, but second row isnt too bad. Id like to see him podium. Will Perez have more race pace than Leclere? All McLaren row 3 could keep them in play too, but probably wont. I suspect the Mclarens will be by themselves and several seconds back will be both Mercedes cars. Yuki qualifying way ahead if Ricciardo isnt surprising either, but I also wont be surprised if Yuki and Lance come together going into turn 1.

Bearman is surely going to make a full time driver look pretty bad by late season where they remain 21st in driver rankings.

Ok. Yeah by interchangeable I more meant they will all generally say the same things. Not like a Square RPG or a Bioware RPG where party members bring something specific to the conversation and even banter with each other in a way unique to them. I like that they sound chatty. I wonder if they will have personality enough my sister would get into the game. My sister really prefers games with chatty party members that feel like people and not just bots that exist. Like Dragon Age.
